even I am confused but let's see if any passerby could clear our doubts. 1) 12996 last digit is 6 so 4/6 in the unit digit. 2) skipping the tenth digit i.e. 9 3) now 129 the remaining number lies between 121 and 144 square of 11 & 12 respectively. 4) choosing 11 as its less than 129 so either 114/116 5) 11x12=132 which is greater than 129 so 116 became my answer, whereas the actual answer is 116. someone kindly, clear this doubt of mine.
