@@jdogzerosilverblade299 In a way, he is *Inevitable.* Endgame aside, you really can't get everyone out from this guy's head as in everything in his head living rent free.
@@ardantop132na6 also i find reviews pointless. if i like the franchise such as god of war doom sekiro bloodborne dark souls etc and the company actually puts real effort into the game and respects their supporters (i mean the players not the advertisers or influencers. they can fuck off.) then i will buy and play the game and 90% of the time enjoy it. but companies like bethesda i dont and cant respect. 76 was a middle finger to their audience. thats a fact. dont care if they improved it. they fact that they can release a 100% unfinished game and people still dont mind pisses me off. so fucking what if they improve it over time. they shouldnt need to do that if they finished their fucking game in the first place. and all companies that do the same. blizzard with diablo immortal is another thing. like 99% of their fanbase is pc.
Sorry, but what?!?! 13:40: The Game does not have a theme?!?" WTF He chooses "Give me a Story" and then does not pay attention to said story. - The struggle against Fate and Prophecy. - Learning to trust and let go of your Family. => Kratos learns to let Atreus become his own person => Brok and Sindri => Freya ... (can't say more because of Spoilers) - And the most obvious theme: Form VS. Nature. In other words. How people present themself VS what they are. Who can you trust? Come on, they even spell that one out towards the end of Act 2. Example: Thor => Form: Intimidating Brute => Nature: A Father and Husband struggling to keep his Family safe, while also trying to drink his daddy issues away. Odin => Form: Wise, old, understanding man => Nature: Manipulative, lying, dick of a father. ... I could go on, but most of these would be spoilers.
Beautifully summarized. It's very painfully easy to see the theme. It's shows the growth of both Atreus and Kratos and it's a thing to behold. Imma be mean here and say that Quantum is a graphics and performance whore and extremely--EXTREMELY--nitpicky.
Yeah. Odin treated Thor (and Magni and Modi) like they were lazy employees, leading them to be brutish and violent to gain Odin's favour and love. It doesn't work.
@@introplays9613 The best way to avoid spoilers is to not talk about them directly. But I guess the whole Tyr thing has been spoiled to hell and back already. It is another case of Form vs Nature. Freya takes the form of the vengeful goddess. In reality, she is just a mother trying to process her own guilt and grief. After all, she is one reason, why Baldur took the path he did. She gets multiple chances to get her revenge on those who she deems solely responsible for the death of her son. In all cases, she decides not to, which reveals her true nature. Sindri's personality shift toward the End is a very similar situation. He acts all bitter and angry but his nature of wanting to help still exists. Otherwise, he could have just sat out Ragnarok if he would have taken his "F**k all" attitude seriously.
And most of those things are just preferences and not even valid criticisms. Like when he said that he wished there was a chapter saves to play again. Like literally…..it’s open world!!!just go back to that area. There’s tons of content to go back to.
Not to mention, for him it is not GOTY because its good. It is just because their is nothing better out their. What a sad "The glass is half empty" way of looking at it.
I think the funniest thing about CupcakeTV's review is when he said that the game doesn't give him clear waypoints or objectives, the game was telling him that he unlocked his journal and can look at objectives and resources. 3 blind mice could make a better review of Ragnarök than Cupcake can. Merry Saltmas to you Klutzy Claus! Great work!
Lol I didn't catch that part... I don't remember him mentioning Sindri gives you a compass as well..... Makes me wonder did he play it ALL or was "too good for it" and watched a quick synopsis of the story.. .. who tf actually watches and likes this clown. I painstakingly tried to watch a video I think on a gaming PC and all it was is how much his cost and how most ppl can't afford it... Tbh I'd like to bust him in his mouth.. Didn't mean to go off the rails but that I'm better than you bullshit kills me
Basically, he can't be bothered to play how he wants AND take responsibility for it. If you play on an easy difficultly, own it. If you want a challenge, be consistant.
@@toddbata8644 yeah pretty much, kratos is stronger than he was in the Greek games, but magically he's much weaker. The Greek pantheon had majorly op magical items and stuff, Norse mythology not so much, so he doesn't really have much magical stuff he can collect to further supplement his powers.
There are many distinct themes throughout this game that Quantum completely looked over. 1 - Being an example for your children to be better than you were. 2 - Not allowing your past discrepancies to affect your present and future and the choices you make. And last but not least - CHOICE, in the sense of you always being able to be at the helm of your destiny and carve your own path. It’s so insulting to the developers to glance over all of that (which, in my opinion, is extremely noticeable) and state the game doesn’t have a theme.
I really wonder sometimes how quantum is in real-life I guess he is the guy when you talk with him in a group he constantly gives random comments with opinions NO ONE can relate too and makes everyone else uncomfortable AND THEN asking WHY everyone is uncomfortable rn
Sometimes i just feel like quantum just trolling & triggered peoples with his video for views & engagement, cause his opinions & the way he portrayed himself are just too bizarre, very hypocritical & all over the place for ... its feel like he just don't care about what he's saying.
I think the challenge mode he was referring to is just Muspelheim. He just needs to unlock Muspelheim to see the challenge mode haha. Just cause it's not in the main menu doesn't mean it's not in the game.
I think he was more thinking of something like what Dragon Quest 11 or Dragon Age Inquisition did, where there are optional challenges you can activate to make things more difficult or limiting. Which is fair, that would have been pretty cool, but it's pretty funny coming from Quantum.
Quantum forgot that the reason Kratos became what he did was BECAUSE he lost his family. In the first game it was clear that his wife and Daughter were his moral anchors or at least what he valued above all. When Ares tricked him into killing them the beast was truly unchained. Kratos always valued family. Now we're just seeing more of that from him
When Fenrir dies in the opening scene I cried, my mom cried and my sis cried too any normal person would feel emotional on that scene...It was so beautifully done and yet our world does have some abnormal people in it TBH..!!! We have a youtube legend the same as QuantumTV in my country OMG they r so fun to watch..!!!
I hope you know that there's health packs and armor in the Merryweather crates in the sub. You can also go first person mode and get the drop on all the dudes around corners.
Despite my views usually on Quantum’s reviews. Apart from a few major points, I don’t think it’s horrible. Yes there are some things in it that make my tech side scream internally, like him saying graphics should be maxed out on performance mode. But all in all I think it’s an okay review. Leagues better from the other ones he’s made, it doesn’t make me pull my hair out at some of his claims. However, there is still room for improvement. But who knows, I could just be soft.
pretty sure by challenges he meant like the older god of war games which had missions with conditions like kill all enemies from throwing htem off a cliff instead of just using your weapons, or killing an encounter without being hit, etc etc. all of the main line god of war games had those in the past.
Quantum said that there’s no challenge modes even though muspelhiem exists and it’s whole point in 2018 was a challenge realm and now it’s for story but mostly a challenge realm so I don’t get it.
To be fair, there’s barely any game nowadays that has NG+ at launch. There are only 3 such games I could remember off the top of my head. Ratchet and Clank 2016, The Last of Us part 2, and Spiderman Miles Morales.
I found that all these grifters who keep hating on the game sound so incredibly uneducated on the story and character of kratos. It’s like they just became aware of the games in 2018 and want them to be JUST LIKE cod or something. It’s very bizarre.
Tip when you are moving about the submarine. There is a guard below the metal grates where you kill the second guard in the red hallway. You can see him and shoot him in the head through the floor
With how the weather looks I didn't think we'd get a white Christmas but there's hope thanks to Klutzy Claus. 16:43 lmao that was so good. Have a great day!
the point with quantum's challenge mode i think he means things like how in doom eternal there are areas that you can do such as kill 50 enemies without getting hit or something like that. which btw is a thing. muspleheim exists for that exact reason. so hes talking out his ass on that point.
He seems to have beelined the story while not paying attention to anything else. In fact, it didn’t even seem like he paid attention to the story. You’re right, Musphelheim sounds more like what he’s asking for. Can’t help him with the chapters and his overall stupidity.
2018 god of war photo ode and new game plus weren’t released on launch. They just sit on that extra content to make sure everyone has finished the game and the content creators have uploaded most of the game. These things will most likely be added in a couple months or so Maybe a year actually, I was looking at my old saves for 2018 and I don’t see the new game added for a hot minute. But that makes sense because just having the blades at the beginning and then a lot of enemies and bosses got new attacks or some attacks got buffed. And then the whole photo mode thing. It makes me think new game and photo mode if they even do a photo mode will be thing in 6 month to a year but damn it’s worth the wait
In defense of quantum’s statement about the blades of chaos and their flow, he never said he wanted the blades to be copied from the original games, he said he wanted it to feel flowy like they used to.
Bud you can request the kotsaka even if it’s out so u don’t have fly across the map and you should really start eating snacks so ur health can get back up
Quantum is honestly a failure of a human being. He don't got consistency (contradicts himself every video) morality, seemingly anything of value going on. 🤷♀️
The reason the game has kratos being a dad in the beginning is to contrast from the beginning of the first game It shows that kratos still treats atreus like he did before but atreus has grown the game is about kratos accepting that atreus has grown (this is fthe lesson kratos learns in my opnion)
His “review” is not as dumb as his Elden Ring one but that’s like saying getting knocked out isn’t as bad as getting kicked in the balls. It’s nice to see Elden Ring still living rent free in his head. While his Elden Ring “review” sounded like he didn’t even play the game, the GoW one sounds like he wasn’t actually paying any attention to anything. As it relates to graphics, the game can do 4k with 60 and 120FPS but HDMI 2.1 is needed.
i agree with the box art complaint but tbh that's where his video should have ended. that comment about the file size not matching up to the graphics blew my mind O.O
17:40 Ok so I give CTV the benefit of the doubt (I know, it hurts me too), but in the most generous way I can think about that, he maybe meant that it's bad that the game can not achieve higher fps in higher resolutions, and it's bad that it only achieves them when you turn down the graphic settings.
Also, you might want to mute your background music when showing other peoples footage, especially if they have music playing too. The sounds all start to clash and get muddy and it's hard to listen to. Maybe it's just me though.
Oh klutzy clause, give us yee salt to make us jolly. Under our trees, remove all feelings melancholy. Make us giggle so our bellies jiggle, And let us off Quantum's bad takes with a wiggle.
It’s almost as if this game like the last one was developed with the One-Shot in mind, that’s gonna take some storage did he expect the game to be 30 gbs?
He really said the game doesn’t do much for advanced players when he played it on the easiest difficulty where he probably button mashed, blazed his way through the game. He has no idea what the game offers to advanced players.
it baffles me that he talks about the game not having challenges modes as it shows the sutr cutscene in *Muspelheim* you know, the challenge mode area lmao
Hates graphics-chose preformance mode Hates how easy it is-chose the easiest mode Hates animal killing”for no reason” *even though all plants are dead so they’re forced to*-just an average vegan Hates how it’s ‘dad of war’-that’s the point of the story Hates how they haul their kills-that’s the point, they aren’t gonna kill it then just leave it there
He wont do the side quests. He will be murdered by berserkers and and the new valkyrie queen. He chose give me a story 🤣🤣🤣 and you can replay the challenges in Musphelheim. And you can easily change difficulty settings 🤣🤣🤣
my brain is melting when i try to figure out how this guy is complaining about the game not giving him enough challenges while playing ON LITERALLY STORY DIFFICTULTY 🤡🤡💀💀 This guy makes it so easy to pick him apart lol
He's going into details in his review nobody really pays that much attention to or even cares about I don't care about the menu screens I don't care about the box art get me into the game play the music the story
the literal only thing i agree Quantum on, is i wish more games had a challenge mode or extra mini games. Even old god of war had the funny sex minigames. Obviously i don't want that, but i just like more things to do.
He mentions about him being a dad that's the whole thing about it but so was the original gow if he wasn't a dad he wouldn't have eventually went to kill all the gods
It's how I expected it to go. Knew he'd 180 on his opinion and say it was great after all the backlash. His takes are still trash 😅 love he wants a challenge but hates elden ring, so much so to even mention it lol. I hope elden ring gets game of the year to make him salter 🤣
Put it on Give me God of War then if you want it to be hard. I find it perfectly difficult on Give me a Challenge. I’m used to the original 6 games Devil May Cry format.
I actually really like the dialogue and slower moments and that the combat is a bit more boring. Not bad still good i just really looked forward to the dialog betweem atraus and kratos
What is he talking about? He started complaining about how there’s nothing unique in the START menu, like wtf did he expect? Then he goes on a random tangent about replay-ability
sorry last comment, some games are sometimes even larger because they offer various language dubs apparently ragnarok has 13 different choices for language.....so yh
Ive been atting him in different comment threads, with different things he said like how he didn't care about atreus feelings when his dog DIED and i fail to see how the disk casd is a critical point in a view. He hasnt addressed me but he addressed everyone else XD even called him out in the comment threads and still nothing. xD
