In gow 2018, Atreus couldn’t hunt by himself and couldn’t even kill a deer in the beginning of the game. By the end Freya wants to kill Kratos. The opening did a great job showing that Atreus has improved and gotten more independent since the last game by showing him walk in by himself with deer, and then showing us Freya’s attempt to kill Kratos to address the end of the last game as well. It was a great intro narratively.

It seems that neither Quantum nor his subscribers understand how free speech works. Quantum has his take on GOW, however terrible it may be. And Klutzy has a right to make a reaction to it and call him out for how terrible it is. That's literally ALL this should be. If he was starting up a second playthrough, and he was annoyed at the slow start up since he'd already seen the story, he might have a point. But GoW 2018 started slow, and now Ragnarok starts slow, and the real irony of it is that this takes a lot of guts in the creative writing department; it'd be easy to say they owed it to the fans of the franchise to 'throw them right in' and not build the story slowly from the opening. Instead, they've made it, I feel, very clear that their first focus was making a story with gravitas, and furthermore, Ragnarok definitely improves on 2018's mechanics in almost every way (possibly every way.) His complaints are terrible.
Even though I have an Xbox, I’ve seen a lot of gameplay from this title, and if I know anything about storytelling, it’s this. The opening of Ragnarok does one thing that IS A MUST! World-building and, in the case of meeting Odin and Thor, BUILDING TENSION!!!

There was a serious contradiction in there too. Hooking you with writing means to hook you with the narrative. You cannot efectively create the narrative through battles, which is why the scenes before the fight is important for setting the stakes and reason for fighting. Why QT cannot realize this, i do not know
Quantum wants "a story" but everything he said proved that he's too stupid to actually understand the story being told. He complains about Kratos being "neutered" because he's not immediately running around killing shit. Well DUH, that's the whole point of his character arc. That he's not that mindless wrecking machine anymore, because he wants to be BETTER. He doesn't want a "story". He wants to watch a Michael Bay action movie, with no depth, no characters and nothing that requires any thought by the viewer. Just punches and explosions.

1st, Quantum won’t play the game. He’ll just watch a playthrough and then give a review. 2nd, he won’t play Doom Eternal. Being a hardcore Christian that he is, when the word Lucifer was on a tv screen he freaked. So all the demons and pentagrams in Doom are gonna trigger him to the max.
Quick question. Why? Why is graphics quality so fricking important? Why do People want as buttery smooth graphics as possible? Do those pixels and polygons really matter? Why is quantum putting so much emphasis on graphics? Its pointless.
Its really atarting to seem like quantum simply doesnt like video games.... to say the graphics of Ragnarok arent some of the best in the business is just a bold face lie. Performance and quality both are probably some of the most detailed and best looking graphics to date.... The ONLY SINGULAR way you can look at GOW Ragnarok and claim it is a "PS4" port and doesn't look amazing graphically is if you are purposefully looking for things to dislike...... Quantum is simply saying blatantly incorrect things because he wants to dislike it. Not because he actually thinks that.... literally no person would look at Ragnarok and say it's not impressive as hell graphically. Its an amazing detailed, much more detailed than Spider-man...
Sounds like to me Quantum TV can't handle the backlash from his crappy Review's/First Impression Video's and IF Quantum TV truly doesn't care what other people think of him than there is no need for those respond videos.
Some ppl just shouldn't be allowed to make reaction / review videos from video games. This is the same guy who said Elden ring was bad. This guy actually had the nerve to say spiderman had better graphics than this game. This guy's point of view is just so not reliable or relevant.
You can tell Quantum has never read a book in his life if he thinks stories need to open into immediate action. They need an opening hook, yes. But that hook is the first chapter. That opening segment he shat on IS that first chapter.

I don't think quantum knows about writing because I'm currently working on a book and I feel that somtimes slow starts are a great way to hook people because it hooks them into the story

I’m playing this on a PS4 Pro and a Steam Deck via Chiaki. I have just finished The Last of Us Part 2 before starting this. If GoW Ragnarok isn’t te best looking game on the platform, please tell me what is, because I’m continually amazed at how good the graphics are, even in performance mode.
Also this was supposed to be the god damn TV not god of war. Good lord this quantum guy is delusional at this point wouldn't surprise me if he ends up committing war crimes.
On the cover of the game for the physical disc it literally says something like "go on a heartfelt story" or something and this guy is complaining when he gets a heartfelt story? I feel like he just bought the game, downloaded it, and immediately started trashing it 😐
