*~Banana Bread Recipe~ * Ingredients: -2 cups flour; spoon into measuring cup for accurate results ;) -1 teaspoon cinnamon -1/4 teaspoon salt🧂 -1 teaspoon baking soda/powder -4 dark brown bananas 🍌 -1 stick or 120ml softened butter🧈 -3/4 cup compacted brown sugar or honey🍯 -2 room temperature eggs 🥚 -1/3 cup sour cream or yoghurt🍨 -1 teaspoon vanilla essence/extract🥃 -Optional extras: walnuts, chocolate chips🍫, pecan nuts 🥜 Method: * Preheat oven to 350°F or 180°C * Mix dry ingredients; super easy * Mash bananas until personal preferred consistency is reached, set aside * Combine sugar and butter and beat for up to 10 minutes or until it is airy and fluffy * Add eggs into sugar and butter mixture and incorporate well * Add sour cream, mashed bananas and vanilla essence/extract into wet mixture, gently mix * Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, fold in until just incorporated * Add optional extras to mix * Grease pan * Add mixture into pan until 3/4 full * Pop into oven for about 60 minutes

GUYS I TRIED THIS RECIPE AND IT WAS LEGIT SOOOO GOOD!! My first time making banana bread, and my family (as well as myself) was very impressive by the delicious-ness. Also, just sharing some of the changes I made to the recipe: 1. I didn't have vanilla extract/ essence as well as cinnamon powder, so I just omitted it. Flavour wasn't compromised, not too worry. 2. I added blueberries and it was sooo good! The combination of darm chocolate (I used 70%), bananas and walnuts was a perfect combination. 3. Leave an extra banana at the end, slice it up, and layer it on the top of the banana bread mixture in the loaf tin. And sprinkle some brown sugar on the top, and you will get this nice shiny glisten on the top of the banana bread as well as some caramelization of the sugar and banana. 4. I was really eager to make this recipe, so I bought a bunch of bananas. But the problem was that they weren't ripened And impatient me really wanted to make some banana bread haha. A tip that works pretty well for me, was to keep the bananas in a brown paper bag. After around 2 - 3 days, the bananas had some nice brown spots which indicated that they were ripened.

I love making banana bread with my family! Our recipe is pretty much the same as yours, except we add a LOT of chocolate to make it a chocolate banana bread. It gives it a chocolatey cake feel that makes me want to devour it! I always prefer dark chocolate over any type and adding that to the banana bread gives it a perfect taste. Not too sweet, but not too bitter! I love you so much Alix! -Re

I used your recipe today and OMG!! It was soooo delicious! I couldn't believe how amazing it tastes.. The only difference I made was putting cocoa powder with the flour, little bit of instant coffee, and no nuts because I didn't have it with me. I'm definitely using this recipe again!
