Dianne, just an idea, try leaving the clay charms on the window ledge, the heat from the sun through the window may help them harden. Also, don't worry about vlogging when you see your family just enjoy your time with them, you've waited long enough.

Diane maybe the hotel accidentally took down your card details wrong? Ask them to check them to repeat details back to you? Or your bank hasn't set your card for abroad?X
This happened to me in a hotel once, turns out they’d put the wrong number in to the machine and then insisted my card was being declined. Is it worth checking they’ve put the correct digits in to their system? Hope you get it sorted soon - keep your chin up, you’re doing so well!

Depending on how many people are quarantined at the hotel it might take them a long time to write on each and every container (especially if they don’t have a lot of staff) I agree it would be very helpful though!

I hope you called your bank again to straighten out the mess. Can they tell you if they see any transactions trying to come through? If they don’t see any than maybe the hotel has the wrong card number.
When Dianne was talking about not hearing anyone else, i was thinking the other day, imagine people thinking she’s talking to herself and going mad but in reality she’s making video diary’s of her quarantine
You should order some instant coffee (I know it doesn’t taste as good, but it beats paying 6 bucks for a coffee!). If you have a working kettle, you don’t need to buy an expensive coffee machine for your last 5 days. Just an idea. Hope the next few days go fast and everything goes well!
Why don't you get free tea and coffee especially as they've given you a kettle plus it's usually the norm with hotels, strange if you ask me plus your there for 14 days.

Tbh, I wouldn't blame you if you decided not to vlog much at all once you're there. 14 days in quarantine has probably taken a toll on you mentally, physically and emotionally. Even with the exercise, you'll no doubt be moving much more once you're out of there. Regardless of the reasoning, or whether it's by choice or not, being stuck inside somewhere for 14 days is bound to have an affect. If you choose to leave the camera packed away while you readjust and spend quality time with the family you haven't seen in over a year, i don't think anyone would begrudge you at all. I personally think these quarantine vlogs have been a great little series and are more than enough to keep people amused. Do whatever you need to do to readjust and stay well physically, mentally and emotionally. :)
Q can Andrew pay your bill at reception and you just send him the money while you sort your card issues out hence then being able to still have your coffees
These videos are more inspiring than u know. I am 5o n disabled with arthritis n fibromyalgia. I lay in bed almost all day n its so bad n seeing you kerping motivated is amazing . i wonder how people in jail feel like although they need to be there i imagine . but u r amazing n its really unique this series u have done
Your hair is two toned, your original red, on roots, fading into the ginger colour. Red is popular in the box colour. The ginger colour is probably hard to find. Love you Dianne. 💖
Some of them do, I live in NZ and we have this same quarantine system, many of the hotels have a small area which people can walk around in for about an hour a day I think, I know people who have experienced it and they said getting outside was a life saver, I don’t know why they don’t do it at this specific hotel, maybe Australia has different rules
Australia has different rules you can't leave the room at all, 10,000 people do it every day in Australian quarantine hotels and they survive all right

Seen this from another comment that I thought was great with ur bank issue check with bank if u have geo blocking on might blank ur card from working out side the uk also try a bank transfer to them or PayPal payment or get ur brother to pay for it with his card and u give him the money back thank u Anna Sophia for the great idea xx

Ask your brother or family member to provide card details and transfer them the money or give in cash once youre out, or you can probably buy a prepaid card somewhere in Perth and have it delivered, what a bloody nightmare tho! Maybe you can also order some instant coffee, you’d think for the price you spend they would give you a coffee with your brekkie 😂
You should be able to use your card fine abroad… you will need to contact the overseas number which is on the back of your debit/credit card as the card may be blocked..They will just need to go through security with you then they will unlock it . ( unless your card has expired) . :-)

A bit bad that they let you order stuff before when your card wasn’t work but now they’re not. You’d think they’d give you the benefit of the doubt and put it on a tab or let you pay cash or something. That’s scary being in a different country. I remember we went to LA and my dads card wasn’t working at the hotel for the first few days so we were panicking 😂

Strange how your card isn't working in the hotel when you are able to use it online without any problems. Have you checked they have the correct details at reception? Loving the vlogs by the way - you have been such a ray of sunshine during what must have been a very challenging experience!

Have the card company call the hotel while you are on the line with them. If it doesnt work use another card or have your brother call the hotel use his card details. It's pretty common for cards to play up overseas. Hope your room is paid for. Amazon probably working because you have an account with them with your payment details
