Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. Re programmed and arranged by musicians.

இரவு 11.40 மணிக்கு இந்த பாடலைகேட்டேன் .அழுகை, அழுகையாக வந்தது. பாடல் வரிகளா, அந்த இசையா, மனதை எங்கேயோ கொண்டு சென்று பழைய நினைவுகளை கிளறி விட்ட அந்த பாடல் வரிகளோடு ஒன்றிய குரலா, யாரைத்தான் பாராட்டுவது, ஒன்றும் புரியவில்லை,ஆனால் அழுகை மட்டுமே மிச்சம். நன்றி என்ற மூன்று எழுத்துக்கள் போதாது. 😥😥😥

அன்பானவரே கவலைப்படாதீர்கள். எங்கள் மனதில் உள்ள ஆழமான கவலைகள், காயங்கள், கஷ்டங்கள், ஏமாற்றம், எம்மால் இயலாத்தன்மை, தெரிந்தோ தெரியாமலோ செய்த தவறுகள், அந்த தவறுகளை நினைத்து நினைத்து மனம் கசிந்து அழுவது இப்படி எங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் மிகப் பெரும் போராட்டங்கள் எங்கள் இதயத்துக்குத்தான் தெரியும். இவைகளை தீர்ப்பதற்கான மருந்தை பணத்தாலோ, எங்கள் பலத்தாலோ நிவர்த்தி செய்ய முடியாது. ஒரே ஒரு வழி. எங்களை படைத்த இறைவனிடம் நாம் சரணடைவது. உங்கள் அம்மாவிடம் அல்லது அப்பாவிடம், அல்லது உற்ற நண்பரிடம் உங்கள் கஷ்டங்களை முறையிடுவது போல, இறைவனிடம் உங்கள் கண்களை மூடியவாறு இரு கையையும் கூப்பி மனதில் இருப்பதை சொல்லி அழுங்கள் அப்போது உங்கள் பாரம் குறையும், முற்றாக குறையும் என்று நான் சொல்லவில்லை நீங்கள் திரும்பவும் திரும்பவும் வேண்டுதல் செய்ய வேண்டும். வேண்டுதல் செய்யும் போது எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள். வானத்தை பார்த்தவாறு வேண்டும் போது சூரியன், சந்திரன் எங்கள் கண்களில் படாதபடி எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள் ஏனென்றால் கடவுள் அவைகளை படைத்திருக்கிறார் நாங்கள் படைத்தவரை மட்டும்தான் வேண்ட வேண்டும்.. நான் எழுதியதில் தவறு இருந்தால் மன்னியுங்கள். எனது நோக்கம் ஆழ்ந்த கவலையில் இருப்பவர்கள் என்னைப்போல இறைவனிடம் வேண்டுதல் செய்து மகிழ்ச்சியாக வாழ வேண்டும் என்பதே. இதோ கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தையில் இருந்து சில வசனங்கள்:கடவுளுடைய அரசாங்கத்தில், ‘இதுவரை பட்ட கஷ்டங்களையெல்லாம் [நாம்] மறந்துவிடுவோம்.’ ‘முன்பு பட்ட கஷ்டங்கள் யாருடைய மனதுக்கும் வராது. யாருடைய நெஞ்சத்தையும் வாட்டாது.என் ஜனங்கள் இனிமேல் என் கண் முன்னால் கஷ்டப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.இதுவரை பட்ட கஷ்டங்களையெல்லாம் மறந்துவிடுவார்கள்.+17 இதோ பாருங்கள், நான் புதிய வானத்தையும் புதிய பூமியையும் படைக்கிறேன்.+முன்பு பட்ட கஷ்டங்கள் இனி யாருடைய மனதுக்கும் வராது. ருடைய நெஞ்சத்தையும் வாட்டாது.

one of the best comosition. I was in Chennai during 1969-1972 and at that time period this was one the songs played on radio all the time. I remember watching the beautiful movie too. our good friends in Tamil Nadu have never disappointed us our desire for beautiful composition like this. இந்தப்பாட்டில் என்னையே நான் மறந்து விட்டேன்.It is an immortal song.I appreciate Subasri and her team for reconstructing this song with youngstets.It is very difficult to synchronise voice of the singers and orchestration.You have done it with people like Shyam Benjamin ,Siva and others.I listen to your efforts everyday while walking in the early morning.The explanation of the background of each song by Subasri makes me enjoy the nuances of songs.Kudos to the whole musoc team.

இந்தப் பாடல் இல்லாமல் QfR என்ற இந்த தொகுப்பு நிறைவு பெற்றிருக்காது. எந்த golden era பாடல் தொகுப்பும் இப்பாடல் இல்லாமல் முழுமை அடையாது. கண்ணதாசன் கவிதை சுசிலாவின் குரல் என மனம் நிறைவுதான் எனினும் பாடல் முழுமை அடைவது மெல்லிசை மன்னரின் 💐 tune 💐, interlude ,💐 humming 💐 வைத்த விதத்தினால் என்பதே திண்ணம்.👌👌👌

I had seen this movie so many times in the theatre in 70s when this film was re-released, just for this song. Only Legends like Sridhar Sir,KAVIARASAR, Mellisai Mannagal, Sushilamma, PBS Sir can create this masterpiece. Today again QFR Team brought one of the best presentation in this series. This is one of my all time favorite song. I recently heard this song after listening to raja sir's interview. He said "Thamarai Ilai meal manadhinai eduthu thaniye vaithirundhean". When you hear these words you will feel like what is he trying to tell but when MSVs tune and PB srinivas's voice converges, it makes this phrase so memorable and close to heart. How did I miss the solo version of this song. Loved the way Padmanabhan rendered the short piece, he sounded like PB Srinivas sir. Soulful. This is a jewel in the crown for QFR series. Hats off for taking us to the black and white era. Nostalgic. ❤

One can vouch this song can be listed in one of the top 5 songs among Tamil film songs...seducive tune twisted with inseparable lyrics...you listen 1000 times.. still you want to listen...QFR has added glory to this song...Anu sang so nicely with miscible music played by Shyam, Padmanaban, Selva and Venkat...Siva has done great job... Greatest day for QFR fans...

Anu stole the show today by her bhavam laden singing, great find by Subhashree madam for the QFR team. Mukesh presented the PBS Sir portion equally well. All accompanying artistes did equally well, Mukesh doing a dual role today. Hats off to Subhashree Madam for showcasing this epic song. I am running out of words to express my feelings. Anu was simply superb. Couldn't control tears running down when the song was over. Venkat, Shyam, Selva everybody has given perfect backing. I can tell this one is the best of all. Beautiful rendition by Anu Anand. She handles the range of the song and the subtle emotions so beautifully. But what really really really blew me away was the unplugged rendition by Padmanabhan - truly brought tears. I have been a fan of his through-out this series - first sat up and really noticed him when he sang "Hello My Dear Wrong Number". Since then, I have looked forward to listening to more of him. Today he has outdone himself. Bravo.
