Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions. When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.This series will feature a set of some classic songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed, mainly between the period 1945 - 1992, and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focused on old songs. Re programmed and arranged by musicians.

I have congratulate subhashree for the song selection for this QFR prog. Though several centuries have gone since 1964 , when I was a student in MA first yr at madurai used to sing this song in college functions. Now I am in 80 s with the same energy I love to sing along with this beautiful 2 singers. Such a lovey voice rendered by the famous singers. Years have gone , voice has gone lot of life scars in mind and body but hear and thinking still of that age for this song. Female singer voice is very good. Congrats Subha....

I deeply appreciate your efforts in bringing out such Manikkam ..only regret is that it took 225 episodes to dig out this ! I wish that QFR surpass 500 episodes. Manasi's tone quality is out of the world..Ashwath really shows his Carnatic prowess. Don't feel bad ..you had wasted numerous trash of 80's.

They are the organisers and they have full right to choose. They also have to cater to the 80s fan clubs , understandably ....to keep them engaged with the programme . We have to contend and Salute QFR for atleast they are digging out such gems of pre 70s....while many programs/ programmers have neglected pre 70s
