It's funny because it's supposed to be taken so seriously. I thought this scene was funny not just cause he got locked in the elevator, but because they just left him there and the movie just moved along. It leaves you wondering what happened, but it doesn't really use that for anything big. In real life, if you shot an old woman in the chest multiple times then later came back to where you had SEEN her dead body and realized it was gone, you wouldn't just be like 'hum dee dum' and move along.

@Death360 Hahaha. Completely agreed. I just saw this movie two nights ago. I'm pretty sure this was right after the guy argued with the cop when he told him not to go to his room, and to stay downstairs. He was all, "Well, what if I don't want to?" And he gets mauled by a zombie-esque rabid canine. It's perfect.

I've been trying to find information on how they made this scene in the film???? Becuz when the dog went in the elevator with the guy you could tell he was actually excited that the guy in the elevator was there, so I think the actor in real life actually spent time with that dog for the dog to comfortably jump on him like that. I was just wondering if there was a guy training the dog to bark in that scene to those actors

People, scenes like this is why this movie is awful! Scenes like this, scenes like the guy bludgeoning a zombie with a camera, scenes like this are funny. You cannot have funny movies in a horror movie unless they're intended to be funny, and there is no way this was intended to be funny. We were meant to take this movie seriously. This movie sucks! Hard!
