I spent a couple days in Madison years ago and I think I rode by the trails on the paved path (I stupidly only brought my fixed gear with). There are some really cool raw rocky sections in this system that get me excited!
7:50 the first time I was at Quarry Ridge I was going down sand bowl and almost hit that drop blind. Would have been a ticket to an instant death. I haven’t worked up the courage to try that drop yet, but I’ve seen guys go off it and it’s pretty amazing to see
You can make a day of it between Quarry Ridge and Pleasant View. Question for you: How's Crystal Ridge in Franklin these days. Is it something you've ridden recently? Used to live a few miles down the road in Greenfield.
@@WISCOMTB blue monds state park is a ton of fun to ride. There’s some pretty technical rock gardens, but it’s a ton of fun. You do need a state trail pass though.
Wood features: A love hate relationship, and the air was like soup with humidity that day--it was all I could do to hold on. Thanks for watching! More rides coming.
