Incredible amount of work going into this Danny, but it looks very rewarding. Great job again 👍🏻

Man, you dodged a bullet having that foam pull away from your "gloop" concoction! Fantastic!

Lovely work again Danny. I did enjoy the “Brucie bonus” moment, (UK viewers of a certain age will get the reference…😊) when the foam popped out of the moulding. I did wonder why you didn’t just go with the chemi wood for the tail light cone but realised the weight penalty that far back on the airframe. Nice crisp result with the moulding as well…..👍🏻

Great work! It is so interesting to see the variety of techniques you use and, most importantly, you show the things that don't go as planned and how you correct them. Speaking of which, what was it that you did to fix the problem you mentioned when it didn't pull down far enough on you second last try?

I simply did it the same but using both hands. The beauty of styrene is if you re heat it it returns to flat sheet so you can try again 😀

My experience is that the alcohol retards the hardening of the epoxy until all the alcohol has evaporated away. Before going hard the epoxy will be soft and spongy.

Makes perfect sense, thank you for the explanation

Hi Danny, another excellent vid as always, I was certain you would have to sand the blue foam out. Wonder if you caught it just before the resin fully cured? Re vac forming small parts have you seen the dental vac units on Amazon for about £130? Perfect for small parts and works really efficiently .

Yes i have seen them great idea, but i quite like my heath robinson approach, besides it saves me some pennies for other toys 😀
