Another video documenting the build of my quarter scale RC model aircraft. In this episode we look at adding lumps and bumps to the cowl of my Chipmunk.
Thanks Geoff I hope so. As I have said, I am not an expert I just try things, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. But it's important that you don't overthink things and just have a go. you can always re-make something that doesn't work.
I admire your ideas. They are so wonderful and well thought out. The workmanship itself is not difficult, but the effect is great. I keep watching your instructions and trying to use them. Thank you and greetings from Poland. Good luck!
Hi and thankyou for the kind words, I really appreciate it :) Lithographic plate is quite hard to find these days, I was fortunate enough to find a box of brand new sheets, several years ago. Hopefully they will last me out. The thicker is 0.35mm and the thinner 0.18mm - hope you manage to find some!
Enjoying the build, bit of an off topic question, what do you do for overall dust control? Looks like you have a workshop in your house? I havve always struggled with dust control in my garage/workshop, even though I hoover regularly everything still gets coated in balsa dust...
Glad you are enjoying the build. It is a bit of a slog and I am not sure new viewers will be bothered to catch up with 55 videos! I hoover a great deal, I also have a desk fan with a filter draped over, this gets most of it, and I do certain tasks either outside or in the garage. Spraying paint is the worst problem, that is a job for the garage. It is a constant battle.....
