Growing up with a skidrow mentality, waiting for the fairlight of sunrise everyday - Another sun reloaded into a dark conspiracy sky. From here to Kalisto there's no more humble guys , the paradox cuts me like a razor and brings a tear to my eye.
Hard to believe the guy who wrote this went on to become a founding member of freakin' Swedish House Mafia! Also, the song you're listening to right now is canon.
No, no, no, this can not be !!!!!!!!! Have I heard it? Many years ago, on my PC I was a crack for the program. This music is played during startup. I had a large collection. Thank you. Super!
This is Impulse Tracker on DOS ! Tracker softwares was THE WAY to do Computer music back in the days (Amiga, MS-DOS, etc...) IMO this is way more powerful than actual DAWs when you know how to use these !!!
I think this track originated and was created on the Atari ST, and re-used later on other platform. The ST was the king for computer music creation. All professional music software like Cubase were born on the Atari, not the Amiga.
Call me crazy, but I would like to see a symphonic orchestra playing this as accurate as possible. The drummer would have to be extremely fast, but I always imagine dozens of flutes playing this.
I'd like to what see LukHash cover this....and in terms of drumming....check out this blind cover: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--jS3HMG2MOA.html
i discovered this track a pretty long time ago, and just every once in a while listen to it again because it is so amazing, it never ceases to be a good track
@Oerg866 Quick guide to Impulse (not that I'm an expert). "Tab" moves focus between the windows, "PgUp/PgDown" changes what's displayed in the selected window, "Del" removes selected window, "Ins" adds a new window, "Alt+Up/Down" Changes the size of the selected window. And if you don't want to use dosbox, Schismtracker is a carbon copy of Impulse but for windows. Change the output mode to OpenGL in the settings (Ctrl+F1) and you can capture using Fraps.
I've heard this song in Infinitode 2 lol, that game's pretty known for putting keygen music as part of the soundtrack, even including Unreal Superhero 3.
Just came to visit and take a deep breath of the good old days. The world these days has gone to shit but damn I'm glad some golden things still exist.
I like the video very much. The song is unbelievable.. I´m happy, that i found it ;) But the reason why i like that, is that this video shows how difficult it is to create such music.. I tried it once and left my fingers of after some hours ;)
