In this video I set up the Quechua 2 Seconds Easy Fresh and Black tent for what would be a 2 night camp in the garden. This is a tent that was voted by you in the community tab here on RU-vid. I show you how I set it up and dry it after a rain shower.
The reason I am camping in my garden is that I need to be close to home as we are looking to adopt a dog.
All opinions expressed in this video are mine and mine alone. I am neither paid or sponsored by either Quechua, Decathlon or Jetboil to promote or show these products.
All sound effects used in this video for the Timelapse's were taken from footage I filmed in my garden.

Hi, I’ve recently discovered your channel whilst researching the 2P Easy Up. It’s a great tent for motorcycle camping as the weight is not an issue, and it takes seconds to set up at the end of a day’s riding. My previous three-hoop tunnel tent had great storage but was far too much of a faff to pitch and strike daily. Anyway, how do you find packing it away ? I always struggle to get it packed away neatly ! The awning/porch looks great too (I’ve just watched your video on that) and will be my next purchase. Keep the videos coming 👍🏻

Hi Matthew, thanks for your message. To pack away the 2 Seconds Easy. I lean over the tent pull in the four corners and central struts together. There will be some excess of fly sheet here but thats okay as I address that later. I will then try to transfer the tent to a dry surface as I will flip the tent upside down. So the groundsheet is now near my face. Holding it tightly and wrapping any excess of the outer fly around the central body of the tent. Then, holding it all together I will put it in to the stuff sack and use the straps on the stuff sack to make it neater. Its not perfect but its in the bag at least. I hope that helps. Now the awning is a game changer. Because if you want to go lightweight and maybe a night or two then you have that option with just taking the tent. But if you are going for a longer duration and maybe the weather looks bad. Then you can take the awning as well. Because no one wants to be laying down sheltering from the rain for hour after hour. I use a Trekology Yizi Go Folding Camping chair and at my height of 5ft 9in or 177cm. Then I can sit watching the world go by or as often the case. Sat listening to the rain falling. So yes I do recommend the awning. It saves buying another tent for a fraction of the cost. I absolutely love mine. As I said before. If I'm going for one night then the tent is great. For a longer duration or if I travel with my dog then its both the tent and the awning. More videos will be coming once my little girl has recovered from her neuter operation which she had on Friday. Right now I'm having to look after her. Though as she slept today I did make some channel graphics for some new products I recently purchased. Thanks again for your kind words

Hi, concerning your sleep. Have you been tested for sleep apnea? I sleep with a cpap machine and get 6-7hrs deep sleep. I take it camping also with a lithium battery. Wouldn't be without it. I have Quechua easy 2 sec fresh black tent also and done a few trips in it now and is superb.

Thanks for your advice. To be honest no I haven't. Trying to get a doctors appointment these days is like farming for rocking horse manuer. There just arnt any appointments ever available. Plus I am 90% positive it's my body clock just not playing ball. I can sleep during the day a little. But changing it back to nights is the issue. 5 out of 7 days I have one sleep pattern and for the weekends I sleep in the night. My body clock is struggling to adjust. Which I've been told can happen as you get older. Sleeping outside I feel does give me a better quality of sleep generally. The cooler, fresher air just suits me I suppose

What about the footprint?

I dont actually have one for this tent

I don't have either one specific footprint for my tent. So I use a larger one. Should I lay it on the ground and fold it so that it matches the tent's footprint? I'm affraid that if it's larger and rains, it collects rainwater that damps the tent's floor. Any other tip to adapt a footprint that is larger than it needs be, other than folding it? Besides, I guess it's better to fold it under than over to let escape any water that may seep between the tent and the footprint.
