I just realized that her crown disappeared after all her servants are dead, because she's no longer a queen. No one to rule over, no one to serve her, and no more purpose.
0:22 - I THINK THE QUEEN HAS OVERWORKED US 0:24 - I THINK SO TOO. SHE IS PLAYING ALL THE TIME AND HAS NOT AN OUNCE OF DILIGENCE. 1:00 - THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING! TODAY WE BEGIN OUR WORLD DOMINATION BECAUSE THIS CASTLE ALONE IS BORING! I'M GOING TO MAKE THE WORLD MINE AND BRING ALL THE GOOD FOOD IN THE WORLD TO THE CASTLE!
My guess of what happened in the end. The girl showed in the last frames is the princess who really has killed all her servants by a caprice of rage. Now she's living in loneliness and regret in the castle. So this animation shows her playing with card dolls and recreating her story as a fairy tale but with a good ending (it was all a bad dream). Amazing work as expected by LeaF and Optie :)
Going to add on, her name is be “Queen Aluett” or “Alouette” which is French for “Lark.” This may (going on a limb here) be a reference to an honestly disturbing French nursery rhyme that chronicles the plucking of feathers from a lark’s various body parts.
@@Wmann Yea exactly, Marenol especially is one of my favourites as well considering the dark story it's trying to tell. Gotta love Optie's animations! :D
I thought it was a happy ending but then realized it was the real queen just playing with cards and remaking what happened to her in the castle but with a happy ending, damn bro 💀
The way everything slowly transitions to being more and more paper and fake is brilliant! It's even noticeable, but still gradual enough to warrant mystery rather than spoilers.
This is like the tamest video on this channel but somehow it unsettles me so much like that scene at the end perfectly capture the absolute regret and loneliness it never fails to give me chills
At first I was like: "Oh, what a cute little animation! A but gory, but all good at the end!" Let's just say that the post-credits scene hit me like a TRUCK.
I like the cards metaphor! I know it can be shrugged off for an aesthetic choice, which is still a valid reason, but here's what I thought. The castle is like a house of cards, with Queen Aluett on top. Tumble all of those at the bottom, and Queen Aluett will also fall, sulking.
I love all the twists and unique animation style this animator has! No matter how scary, their animations are all always jam packed with creative imagery that go really well with the music!
Just the way the string snaps is incredible. It's so startling and puts you on the edge of your seat for the following moments. Perfectly sets the mood.
Beginning: "thats pretty cute I guess" Midway: "thats pretty dark but its Leaf and Optie so its understandable" Ending: "ohhhh... thats happy ending, pretty weird to see that from these guy" Last frame: "ohhhh..... ok"
I think I deciphered most of the moonrunes!! 👑 0:22 = I think the queen has overworked us 0:25 = I think so too! She is playing all the time and has not anounce of di??g??? (it's too blurry help) 1:00 = Thank you all for coming. Today we begin our world domination because this castle alone is boring. I'm going to make the world mine and bring all the good food in the world (some part hidden by her head?) (The texts repeat again) Do mind this isn't 100% accurate for certain since I'm just mostly guessing ;v;
@@XericIsNotMyName Thanks to you I got curious & check it again lolol & I think the 2nd last alphabet is n? So if the di & g alphabets are right I think it might be diligent or dirigent!! And dirigent might make more sense in the sense of the queen directing them? :0 Thanks a lot for the inspiration btw!!! 🙌
@@nonolepoulet7748 B̶l̶a̶c̶k̶ ̶m̶a̶g̶i̶c̶ It's mostly through guessing & inferring hehee ^∀^ For example at 0:22 I'm guessing the servants were gossiping about the queen behind her so there must be "queen" in the text, & luckily the 4th word have an alphabet structure similar to that so I'm basing it as "queen" for starter. The 3 alphabet word before it could be "the" or "our", but since it has "e" as the 3rd alphabet so I set it as "the". Then the 2nd word already have "th_n_", so "think" or "thank" came to mind, but since they're gossiping why would they thank her? So it's most probably "think", & the 1st word have the same alphabet as the 2nd word's 3rd alphabet so it became "I think the queen"! And so on!! 🙌
@@tsubakikyun That's really cool! I didn't thought about using the fact that the queen passes behind them to guess that they are gossping about her! Thanks for your explanation
This animation really has a deep meaning and a depressing one aswell. It basically shows us the princess enjoying her noble life but then was enraged to see her servants not doing their work and not enjoying the way she is treating them making them talk how bad of a princess she is so see lectures them and then the only thing the servants did was prepare her a huge meal and make have her feast with the amount of food that was prepared just for her. Afterwards she called all the servants to have a meeting and basically the meeting was going well until one servant denied it and the others agreed and more agreed to the other denying her causing her to be enraged and ending up killing the one that denied her and continuing to kill another. Killing them one by one. And she then goes insane and practically starts enjoying killing off her servants making her clueless of the consequences of her own actions. After she snaps out of it she looks around seeing all the servants dead she called for them but no one answered she looked every part of the kingdom screaming if anyone of the servants were there but no one answered she then fell in a loop and loop of regret and agony realization hits her like a bullet realizing what she has done to all of her servants her mind is filled with agony and depression causing her to lose herself into that darkness she feared to be in She then wakes up and starts to call for her servants two servants arrive at the door asking her if everything's ok she then cries realizing all of it was just a dream(a nightmare) she then proceeds to treat her servants in a good way and even caring for them but reality hits and the ending shows us the reality of what her actions has done to her all pale and alone filled with fear and agony she continues to play those card boards of her and her servants continuesly so she won't go insane distracting herself from going completely insane This animation basically shows us that abusing your power is just you destroying your own self and your dignity and the end basically shows us that the princess is supposedly the girl at the end but it basically shows that she continuesly repeats on playing with those card boards imitating her story over and over again continuesly distracting herself from reality dreaming that she has never did it and wanting to go back to her normal noble life but in the end that'll never happen Another masterpiece from LeaF and Optie Animation truly an amazing and astonishing work indeed!❤️
I think that the last theme shows that the princess has actually killed all servants, she plays the card boards day by day as she wish that all her mistake (killed all servants) could be only a nightmare.
I only disagree that the servants weren't doing their work. It seems like the young queen has a hot temper and despite the card servants doing their work, she wanted outrageous requests done and when SHE wanted it. The final meltdown of her killing them all wasn't because one servant disagreed with her ridiculous requests, all of them did. All the servants though here demands were ludicrous and that's why she flipped out. She felt as queen if they couldn't obey, they should be dead
I think the queen's unreasonable request can't make the soldiers do it, so the queen is angry and kills them, but everyone has his own understanding, and the song is really nice, isn't it good to listen to the song?
A pointless examination of this song The main character of this song is Aluett, possibly a queen, or a princess, but I'd wager she's neither, since her servants are not replaced, which would happen if she was a queen or princess. Anyway, Aluett seems to be well-taken care of, since she lives in a giant mansion. Her servants seem to have an uneasy relationship with her, as she punishes any sign of resistance. Until one day, when she issues an extremely complex order to every guard, to which the guards refuse. So, she kills every last guard in the palace, using every resource she has, in a fit of rage. Once this fit of rage is over, she realizes that all of her guards (aka her servants) are dead, and spends the rest of her days hiding in the palace, playing with cards in a miniature theater to entertain herself, retelling the story to herself (giving it a good ending, of course, by saying it was just a bad dream). I have just one thing to say: WHY SO FREAKING DARK?!
it's LeaF and Optie Animations, what else are you going to expect with these duo. 😀 Optie Animations makes dark animations while LeaF also makes dark songs. of course it would be dark.😭 (i also thought this was a happy Animation, but it is also odd for Optie to make happy stuff without a bad/sad plot twist)
the story: a queen murdered all her servants, and was lost her role as a queen due to that. now, she uses escapism to cope with the fact that she lost her role as a queen, pretending it was all just a bad dream and she’s fine, but no, she lost her life all because of a temper tantrum. me: omg this song is fire 💀
If I'm being honest with you mope mope isn't even that scary anymore it is creepy but it's not even scary it's just a nostalgic video but when I take a look at his other animations they are literally a chef's kiss they are really good keep up the good work dude I have listened to some of your videos in the past
