That's how incredible they are and they have the best of ALL time ever Freddie Mercury. Can do anything he wants. A unique genius. There aren't many, but he is definitely one There will never be another Freddie.
You can even see today with Adam Lambert. He's a great singer but doesn't bring a fraction of the energy that Freddie did. He sings most of their songs with a hand in his pocket. Freddie was electric, all over the place. His heart and soul were poured into every performance he ever gave.
Just wanted to point out once again that quite often in these live performances Freddie and Roger are actually doing a lot of duets. Roger sings the lion share of the backups as well. John rarely sang and Brian was usually more focused on his guitar. Listen and watch Tear it Up. Every chorus is a duet, just Freddie and Roger. This happens all the time. He was just hidden so much behind his massive drum kits, no one seemed to really notice.
I listen to Queen and Freddie every day.Ill never tire of them they are so connected and talented anyone being there to see this amazing concert is so so lucky.
absolutely immaculate completely agree - Lap Of The God’s SOOOOOOO should’ve been included in their Live Aid set. If I could rewrite history I’d have them do: 1. Bohemian Rhapsody 2. Killer Queen 3. @ eamon kondon everyone had a set of 19 minutes to perform. no more no less. Every minute was important to broadcasters. Besides, it wasn't just queens fans at the wembley, so i believe they cast more famous and later hits. Those two songs might not be suitable for the occasion.
Janique Vaillot - He actually sang back up quite often in concert and his bass really stood out much more live than on recordings. Lordy, I was 37 back then. YIKES! They were the best band I ever saw in concert!
We talk a lot about Freddie and quite rightly how good this man is but Roger, my God, he's second to none, there couldn't be better support for Freddie than Roger.

I honestly don't understand how Freddie ever thought his piano skills were 'not so good'. Brian and Roger always speak so highly of his talents and his style on the piano in interviews, and at the same time mention how little Freddie thought of them himself. I mean, for f*ck's sake, 2:43 ?? that is skill.
Freddie looks like he is working really hard here. Standing at the start then got to sit down and pass the mic to the helping hand without dropping it, then play the piano with a sweaty face and all the time keep singing. I couldn’t do it. I can only think of 1 thing at a time.
Deacy is singing here!!! Hot damn! These 4 men sounded like an angelic choir when belting out tunes together. Their songs are some of the most melodic, complex, rich compositions ever recorded. Def not UR average rock band!
How great it is to have Roger's husky thunderous voice at the back when you sing. I cannot help saying this whenever I hear Queen harmony live. One of the best live rock voice in my opinion as I grew up listening to all the 70s/80s bands' harmony like Eagles and BeeGees.

As I watch any live performance of Queen I'm reminded that I was lucky enough to have been in the audience at a Queen concert, not once but twice, in my lifetime. For those who never got the chance, it is as amazing as it seems here on video.

Every time I watch this, I get gooseflesh. This performance dates back to Saturday, 12 July, 1986. The Friday, 11 July concert was a rainy affair. The extraordinary concert on 12 July was a year almost day for day, after Live Aid, and THAT amazing performance by one Freddie Mercury. Legend. FOREVER.
Freddie in a live concert is pure passion... I always thought that Freddie Mercury singing with all his body...... with every pore... through his entire humanity... every fiber of his body was singing with him!!! I saw Queen 2 days ago in Phoenix and I about pissed my pants when the intro to this song started. One if my top favorites and its sooo underrated 💙💙 Concert was absolutely incredible but kept thinking "my god.. this is without Freddie... wtf was it like inperson with him leading?!?!"
Y eso que en esa gira tuvo problemas con su voz , ahí no la tenía al 100 por 100 ya que el no se la cuidaba ......era un auténtico crack , muy difícil que aparezca otro igual.
