Brian May is a Bachelor of Science he has a PHD and hes a Astrophysicist hes a right intelligent man ,John Deacon on Bass has a Degree in Electronics and John Taylor has Degree in Bioloigy and Freddie had a Degree in Art so all of the group were very well educated
Beautifully made, expertly crafted, never to be repeated in its pure genius. Wonderful design, I can hear this any day, and it brings a smile of enjoyment and excitement!!!❤
I like that you keep it 100. You didn't pretend you didn't know this song. Thanks for the reaction. If you're looking for Queen songs try "I Want It All" It's a banger you might not know.
YES! the crap "reactions" pretending to have never heard this (among others) just make me mad. These gentlemen aren't playing games like that and I respect that SO much.
Here's 5 suggestions for you: Queen Live Aid concert. Queen Live Aid concert. Queen Live Aid concert. Queen Live Aid concert. Queen Live Aid concert. OK? Got it? 😀
Great reaction guys!... I would suggest reacting to 'Somebody To Love " like many others have said but listen to the Studio Version 1st... Then onto the Live 1981 Montreal Version, to see the difference ... they change things up in their live concerts. Best band in the world with the greatest frontman ever, there is no comparison!.. R.I.P Freddie Mercury.
Hey guys I've got a suggestion that's a bit different, but still relates to Queen. I think you might find it interesting "Green Day Crowd singing Bohemian Rhapsody [Live in Hyde Park]" I get goose bumps whenever I watch this. Green Day's Revolutionary Radio Tour brought together an unlikely swath of Queen fans in London, where a stadium in Hyde Park had an estimated crowd size of 65,000 people gathered to see Green Day's massive stadium show and they sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" in unison.
Me too! They sang every single word and sound to a recording of Bohemian Rhapsody that was airing before Green Day's concert. Word for word, forty years after it was released. Just amazing!
@@Ssstinkerbell1 Fair enough. Then his replacements, and modern copies of his guitar, are the only oak body guitars that are known to exist. The point is nobody makes guitars from oak, because it's heavy.
I saw Queen in 1974 at Preston Guildhall in the UK. They were the support band on tour with a band called Mott The Hoople. Queen had just released a single called Seven Seas of Rye which is a great rock song. I recommend that you give a listen.
This is a musical masterpiece ! Freddie Mercury might very well be the greatest male vocalist ever ! It’s tough. I got it down to a Elvis, Steve Perry, and Freddie Mercury.
You gentlemen should react to the "Live in Montreal 1981" video. I saw them on that tour at Madison Square Garden in September 1980. Amazing show 🤯. When they did this song in concert the stage would go dark as the center part of the song came in. It was to hard to recreate live so they'd leave the stage and play the studio part, then jump back out and finish it strong. If you liked this, check out "March of the Black Queen/Funny How Love Is" off Queen II. Gotta do them together as that's how they play out on the record. It was "Bohemian Rhapsody" before it came out.
Iconic song from an iconic band. Thank you for your reaction and not trying to say you never heard of Queen or Bohemian Rhapsody. It would be almost impossible not to have heard this song by at least somebody. My suggestions for Queen songs would both be live performances. Somebody To Love live in Montreal 1981 and White Queen Live at Odeon, Hammersmith 1975. Both of these performances are perfection by every member of the band and "guaranteed to blow your mind" (to borrow a line from their song Killer Queen.
Gives me Good chills just Thinking about that performance!!! They were such a Special Pairing, & it was just Absolutely Breathtaking to see him so Easily “holding his own”!!! I was over the moon for him living his Dream, & sooo Spectacularly!!!🥰
IT WAS ONE THING HE HONORED ALWAYS TO DO.. SO GLAD HIS ONE ON HIS BUCKET LIST CAME TRUE. MISSED OUT A GREAT PERFORMER. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND ✨️✨️ WE STILL HEAR YOU ,SEE YOU AND LOVE YOU💙
Freddie's genius musicianship and the others also+ all their diligent, perfectionist hard work gave civilisation this for centuries to come. Yes, them and this - Legendary boys and girls.
What is so great about the song is that everyone takes away from it whatever they choose too. He would never say what it was about, he always said it is up to the listener. Thank you guys for a great reaction. When I see young people loving Queen I have hope some how I have hope.
You guys really need to check out Queens Live Aid performance in 1985 I was 15 and 54 today and when I say I have seen countless concerts and out of them all Queen at Live Aid was the absolute best I'd ever seen!
Live: Stone Cold Crazy, Liar 1974 @Rainbow; White Queen (Odeon 1975 or 74 Rainbow); 1981 Montreal, Play the Game, Somebody to Love, Dragon Attack, BoRhap, etc…..
I was 12 going on 13 when this song came out. We had never heard anything like it. It was just so amazing! I mean..can you imagine? We were in love! And it’s just as great now as the first time I heard it.
I was in high school when this came out. This song definitely got everyone’s attention. There’d never been anything like it. Of course, we weren’t strangers to Queen; this wasn’t their first song. Fast forward nearly 3 decades later. In the early 2000s, RU-vid came out. And what was the first thing I watched? This. And we all now know about the background behind this very sad autobiographical song Freddie wrote and composed. For decades even the band members know about the song’s meaning. Whenever I hear it now, it makes me feel like crying. You see, back then if you were gay, you might think you should never have been born at all. And that being in a relationship with another man was about the same as putting a gun against your head. Freddie always felt tremendous shame for being gay. He knew his family and how they just couldn’t take finding out he was. Especially his Mother. 😥
Not quite true. Many others were making short films of themselves mimeing or acting to their songs to distribute to television stations around the world years before this. The Beatles notably. I watched a video of them talking about recording several "videos" for songs from a new album in just one day. Bohemian Rhapsody took it to a new scale and height of production.
The first part of the song is all FREDDIE MECURY singing! The video shows the boys lip-syncing to Freddie's amazing vocals. I have loved this man for almost all my life!!! I was a kid when I heard this song and 'nothing really mattered' after listening to his incredible voice!!
You guys should check out the 2017 Green Day Concert in Hyde Park. The crowd of 65,000 sings Bohemian Rhapsody before Green Day takes the stage.. 65,000 people singing 43 years after this song came out.
I'm so glad y'all love Queen! Although this is unrelated to Queen, I would LOVE for you to react to Heart covering Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center Honors performance! The living members of Led Zeppelin were there and the late drummer son actually played the drums with Heart in the performance! It. Is. INCREDIBLE!
for me who has been a fan of queen since 1976 i can honestly say there has never been a better band/group than queen ever... for they are the greatest group of all time fronted by one of the best frontmen in history.... if you car to take the challenge goto ANY Music concert and play this song while the live band is having a break and you will hear thousands of people gining it word for word decades after freddy's death !
I first saw Queen supporting Mott the Hoople at Hanley Victoria Hall \, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs in the early 70's - what a great gig that was! Queen 1st album is still my favourite, followed by Sheer Heart Attack. But Bohemian Rhapsody is a masterclass in writing, performance and recording. And, I agree, guys - Freddie Mercury was one of THE best frontmen ever! So charismatic and dynamic, and supported by one of my favourite guitarists, the very distinctive Mr May!! Backed by a very good, very consistent rhythm section and that has to be one of the top bands ever - and worldwide! Awesome - glad you like this one, Guys.
I remember so well hearing this when it was first released in 1975. It was a game changing piece of music that blew us all away as nothing had been seen or heard ever before. Four great musicians with lead singer Freddie Mercury being, imo, THE greatest frontman of any band ever. Have at look at their performance at Wembley in the Live Aid concert in 1985.
I love the entire album A Night at the Opera. They were very much going for a rock opera. Other bands were doing the same at that time. Check out The Who's Tommy, for example. The other album that has most of the hits I love from Queen is A Day at the Races. Going to the races and to the Opera are two very British things to do and places where the queen usually makes an appearance at some point. Freddie Mercury was known to have said that they were proud of being British. I'll never forget hearing Queen for the first time when I was a college. I remember so many people who thought Queen was to theatrical, and said they'll never become successful LOL yeah we laughed at them a lot. Thanks for another interesting and enjoyable reaction.. of course you could do all of the classics like We will Rock You . One of my favorites is Love of My Life.
I saw Queen live shows since 75. Once I was 8 months pregnant on front row center (Dr Approved). Afterwards, Freddie touched my belly and said Freddie works for both boys or girls. He was great.
I highly recommend you guys watch Queens performance at Live Aid from 1985 holy shit it was without a doubt the best rock performance I have ever seen and in my 53 yrs I have seen tons of concerts all of them rock and Queen at Live Aid was the best I watched that live I was 15 at the time and I was blown away!
Thanks guys, great reaction... just subbed in hopes of hearing more Queen... a lifetime is never enough!! Yes, Freddie could sing anything, BUT Sir Brian May, the Guitar World Magazine's greatest guitarist of all time, playing a waltz on the Red Special?? Check out "Millionaire Waltz" or "Dreamer's Ball" or "The March of the Black Queen" or go way back and do "Liar", which is a showcase of all of their musical talents individually, quite spectacular... they are ALL legends in my book... blessings.
I've just come across your channel and loved the fun you were having with this song. I'd love to see your reaction to their full 20 min set at the Live Aid concert. 💜
They absolutely should!! If you like Queen and know about Freddie’s sad and tragic death.. youMUST SEE THAT UNBELIEVABLE PERFORMANCE!! I already said it but .. I cry EVERY TIME I SEE IT! Watched the movie with my parents 76-77 yrs old and video taped them rocking and singing and mom balling at the end.. (a very very rare thing to witness) so YES YOU MUST SEE THE LIVE AID PERFORMANCE!! Pleaaasseee!!!
I love you gentlemen so much! Queen is an amazing band. Freddie was one of a kind. Your reaction is beautiful...and you are right they were ahead of their time.
THANKS GUYS!! Love Queen 👑 Fun Fact - Before Freddie’s death he was shown the Wayne’s World Bo Rap scene and he thought it was funny great!! Another Fun Fact - Freddie & Michael Jackson did a couple demos together .. only one was released called THERE MUST BE MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS!! MJ was a fan of Queen but a bigger fan of Freddie!!
I agree, Queen is the greatest band with the legendary Freddie Mercury! I've been listening to Queen for about 45 years and one of my favorites is " White Queen " Odeon Hammersmith, Live 1975. This is a hidden gem as well as being hauntingly beautiful. I guarantee you guys won't be disappointed, it's Queen right? Love your enthusiasm and the music you react to. 🫶👏
Queen... One word: AMAZING!!! There will never be another Freddie Mercury. Or Brian May, Roger Taylor, or John Decon. My all time favorite group! ~💜 Love to see your reaction to "Innuendo" #request
Freddie was working on writing three very different songs when he had the genius inspiration to combine them into this epic masterpiece. One of the three was originally going to be called "The Cowboy Song" and is where the shooting references come from. The beautiful harmony at the very beginning is actually just Freddie harmonizing with himself on multiple tracks.
There are great bands and then there are GREAT BANDS! Certainly a masterpiece. I’m 54 years old and come from a family of Queen fans so naturally I grew up listening to them. Wayne’s World brought this song back to light. I have a 15 yr old and she knows this song by heart.
Im laughing at the fact that he was watching Disney movies and not listening to music. Only joking. Try queen live in 1981,Montreal, performing somebody to love. Have you heard Janis Joplin live singing Ball and chain? You will be in the presence of a generation of genius talent
