That lead Pencil trick is amazing. That year Queen hunter did not sport a Tang Stamp. Instead Queen did a light etch on the Blade for a few years. Fortunately a lot of that big Rust blotch area was surface . Looks like a little light pitting-but should clean up great with a belt sander with fine grit. 🙏4 Daughter
CMW, saw that tip a few weeks ago, has changed my amateur knife restoration a lot, The Knife Doctor sent me to his channel...he cleaned a Grandaddy Barlow last drop that was amazing!!! That Queen will end up very nice, I believe...thanks for sharing!!! 🔥😎👍🙏🙏
Wish I could go to knife show. Live in Missouri, bit far for me right now. I have never owned a trapper. I do own a Buck moose, kinda same. Have a great day

Awesome technique with the pencil. I would never have thought of that. Thanks for sharing. The knife is cleaning up very well. Should be a beaut when you are done. Prayers for your daughter. I hope, whatever, she is dealing with, she will overcome soon. Have a great day!
Yeah, I have been looking for all my old carpenter pencils....I like getting the worst of the rust off, where you can see what you are dealing with...without taking away too much metal...looking forward to part 2, buddy...prayers for your daughter....Jim
