Queen Hatshepsut ruled from 1479 to 1458 BC. She was referred to by both male and female names. There was no Egyptian word for the female queen "Her Majesty". People addressed her as the male "His Majesty". She wore a fake mustache and a man's headban.
Queen Hatshepsut built a number of incredible structures, like all the great Egyptian pharaohs. She ordered the construction of a temple in Deir El-Bahri, considered one of the most beautiful temples in the world, designed by her chief minister, Senenmut. The temple honors the gods, especially the creator God Amon. She orders the construction of most of the obelisks located in the Temple of El-Karnak, and in addition, she remodeled her father's hypostyle hall and added two obelisks.
