There’s two voices at the end we’re actually Brian May- The lead guitarist along with Freddie- “ we’re giving it all and we’re living at all” that whole section was the two of them going back-and-forth. Brian has this soft beautiful voice and Freddie is this is powerhouse.
Also, that’s super high falsetto know that you can hear slowly rewinding the song back the way you did, not only shows the power in the harmonics but Roger Taylor‘s amazing super high tenor voice. I’ve always loved it! He is number five best of all time singing drummers, and is the one who sings that high-pitched “Galileo” in Bohemian Rhapsody.
This song is currently being used in a GrubHub commercial that airs a LOT. Believe it or not it just came on my tv as I'm typing this! And this was after Queen had stopped touring due to Freddie's illness so unfortunately they never did it live. The closest thing we have to that is the music video, and you can see that Freddie's physical appearance had started to change even though his voice is still powerful. It's funny, but I can watch you listen to a song I've heard so many times over so many years and still be surprised at little things you notice & pull out of it that I hadn't really thought about before. This is actually the long version because it’s the album version the video version is a shorter version but not that much shorter it just doesn’t have some of the instrumental that the long version has but I actually prefer the video version because you see them perform it and Roger Taylor on the drums with the water splashed it off pretty cool you may want to check out the video

This is one of my very favorite songs by them because it came out at a time when they had taken a break and hadn’t put anything out in four years or so because Brittany has been working on his solo stuff and the other bandmembers were doing their thing. I was driving home from work one day and I was six months pregnant. I heard this song and when I heard the harmonies & that guitar & drum beat- I was so excited because I knew it was Queen!!!! The boys were back!! Yess! Surprised my poor baby wasn’t born death by the way I turn that music up full blast each time I heard that song
Queen never performed this live with Freddie. He was always suffering from Aids by the time they recorded it and Brian was even worried that the song would be too much for Freddie in his weakened condition. Freddie, being Freddie, turned to Brian and down 2 vodkas before saying, "Fuck it, let's do it". He proceeded to record the song in one take. Later, they were able to create a video that is well worth the view.
This song is on the GrubHub advertisement on TV. Some years ago, & long before the movie came out, this song was also used for an Applebee’s commercial on TV.

Just wanted to let you know that Too much love will kill you was never performed live by Freddie. It was written in 1989 & published on 1995 album Made in Heaven. You reacted to a compilation that someone made.
You really need to listen to Queen songs with both ear buds in, They were champions of stereo sound and they pan guitar parts and vocals all the time, you're missing stuff. You've got good taste though, keep it up!
Boy do I enjoy these!! BTW the place where you said they made the transition to the bridge, that's Brian singing the bridge. Only place you can see live is in the Queen+Lambert version, which is pretty good, too, even though he's not everybody's cup. Gotta react to some of Brian's lead vocal stuff, i.e. Leaving Home Ain't Easy, which I don't think anybody's done, and a later performance of Queen (Brian and Roger) plus Pavoratti singing Too Much Love Will Kill You, ... it's live and pretty special. Where else could you hear the most famous opera singer of the recent generation sing with members of Queen. Thanks, Treant for these. I really look forward to them.

@@Roguetrainer Ah, yeah, that makes sense. But, the point I was getting across is that Freddie never toured after 1986 or whatever, so, none of these 1989-1991 songs were toured by Queen.
Unfortunately this was never played live because it was from a later album of theirs, The Miracle, recorded when Freddie had already been diagnosed and could no longer tour. Their last tour was in 1986. Also, I'm pretty sure Grubhub uses this song for their ads now, haha! I keep seeing it floating around RU-vid, so that might be where you've heard it lately. :)
They never performed it live with Freddie, as it was released in 1989. The best live version is probably Queen+Paul Rodgers live in Sheffield 2005!! You Should react to it!! Might be good to do just a little bit of research on Paul Rodgers, He was admired by Freddie!!

Wrong version you have the album version you need to see the video version that shows the video performing the song! This is a little different because it’s the album version it’s not in the video version sometimes is a little different it’s actually better and there are two versions along in a short just like with one vision that has a long and the short version this also has two versions

Oi. You’re timing kills me! You always stop it ONE beat into the dramatic changes. Not one beat before, not long enough to hear what it is doing, always one count after. Otherwise, good reaction. As others have said, you are confusing this with the single version. This is the album version. The single’s version has a much better opening by starting right off with the a capella.
I wish you would leave the song alone. Quit stopping it so much,. It’s incredibly annoying. Want your reaction to the music AFTER listening to it in its entirety. You screw up the full experience with constant chatter and interruption. . Analyze it later.
