The band stayed together, despite their fights and disagreements, because they were friends and family. What they had was awesome and why change what’s already Great?
I live in Australia and saw Queen on this tour in Sydney. It was less than three months before Live Aid and they were in great form. I remember being blown away by Freddie's voice.

CLDslash Oliveira Freddie Mercury was on a lot of MTV videos where he was wearing a short sleeve shirt and suspenders😂😂 he didn’t dress as flamboyantly during his free time like he did on the stage.

Freddie said he and Brian would start arguing as soon as 5 min after they were together. It's hard to believe cause Brian was so soft spoken What did they fight over.
Just go listen to their studio arguments, you can get a grasp of what most of their arguments are like. Or the making of One Vision. They mostly just argue over the music.

They didn't, unfortunately. After Auckland, they played 4 dates in Melbourne and 4 in Sydney, then on to Tokyo! I was at their final Melbourne show on April 20th 1985. If you google the Aussie part of the tour, you can find photos, blogs and even some rough audio from these concerts, which I only discovered a couple of weeks ago!! I'm glad some people shared their memories of the tour :)
Molly Meldrum took his job as well as himself so seriously, that he nearly passed out a few times when interviewing Prince Charles (there's some great youtube footage) and they had to do several takes. He was especially nervous around Queen though, because when he interviewed Freddie about 'I Want to Break Free', Freddie started teasing him about how we all like to dress in drag every once in a while. Molly was worried that Freddie was going to 'out' him on TV (Molly was known to be gay but it wasn't talked about much in the 1980s, and dressing in drag was often seen as the same to being gay).
