I admit to being white, but I think Queen Latifah is a lovely, classy, gracious, woman. And like other Black Womyn that I have known well enough to discuss racial issues with, she acknowledges that the main thing holding us back is being FEMALE! So I admire any Wombon who stands up for the SISTERHOOD!
And so the same God that said, "Neither do I condemn you" also said unless you REPENT you will PERISH. Repent means to TURN from your sin. Queen Latifah has this GRACE from God. The LAW of God condemns her but God, through Jesus, has stepped in and offered her a PARDON upon her REPENTANCE. If she continues in her sin, however, then she will perish. This is the message to her. So Im not casting stones. Im sharing the GOSPEL with her in that she has an opportunity to LEAVE her life of sin.
Persons or people of color isn't lame. It is a less awkward way of discussing American minorities than calling them minorities or whatever else. The interviewer was expanding Latifah's influence beyond just African-Americans or Blacks
I want to hear her thoughts on the native tounges, she never mentions her involvement no matter how brief it was she was part of one of the most uplifting "super groups" in hip hop. Why doesn't any one ask her about that experience?
