I remember 50 plus years ago walking past our records shop ( which is still open today ) and hearing music from the shop and stopped what and who is that , they where Queen and I followed them ever since for 50 plus years . Always make me tear up many memories associated with Queen songs friends who are no longer here but also many happy memories

You're so right about Queen sounding better live! If you get the chance, check out their Live at the Rainbow (they performed twice there in 1974!) and a Night at the Odeon from Christmas Eve, 1975.

You bring back a lot of memories for me. Freddie had a way of captivating crowds like no other. I mentioned to you a while ago about seeing Queen in small venues and then they started selling out multiple concert dates in arenas across the globe by the late 70s. I remember singing along with this tune along with 17,000 other adoring fans. Truth be told, I saw them in concert a dozen times between '75 and '80. They used to sell out 3 or 4 shows at the same venue; my buddies and I just couldn't get enough. Good times. And I love you hair, by the way.😎

I enjoy this particular performance of the song, just because “Poor Freddie” actually has to sing ALL the lyrics! (He’d gotten so “spoiled” by the audience singing a lot of the song for him, it’s funny to hear him complain to Brian near the beginning: “They don’t know it!”😆 …For me, watching/listening to Freddie & Queen is like “coming home”: There’s a warmth and underlying uplifting quality about them/their music (and Freddie’s solo music) that always comforts my Spirit.

My dad saw them live in that year '81, here in Buenos Aires. Freddie was really surprised to see the whole crowd singing the lyrics. Great anthem and great reaction, Becks. 1:52 Goosebumps hehe, it's normal ¿Next reaction? Queen - We Will Rock You (Fast Version) Live in Houston '77

I got to see Queen in 1980 on their Game tour and Freddie God rest His merry soul loved being up on the stage vamping it up for the fans. They loved Him and He loved them. He is truly missed.

Rebeka, I've had a quick look through your Queen vids that you've reacted to so far and there seems to be one missing. At Live Aid, Freddie & Brian took to the stage again, later in the evening and performed this song and, is this the world we've created if you have the time have a look at it, It's awesome.

September 1980, "The Game" tour same as this, Madison Square Garden, NYC cant believe it's been almost 44 years. You know, I just went back and rewatched your reaction to "Save Me" from this same show. To this day it's still one of May favorite Queen songs.

This same song at the Rock In Rio festival in Brazil 1985 is even better as there is over 250,000 people in the crowd whose native language is Portuguese and are singing the song in perfect English to Freddie while he is conducting them and loving it.

I think Freddie was referring to his girlfriend who broke up with him as a result of his acknowledgement of his homosexuality.Thank you Rebeka for reacting to such a sad song. Love of my life don't take it away from me, don't leave me. You don't know what it means to me. I Love you. 😢😢

I'm not big on love songs because most are too maudlin, but that one is a real good one. Another real good one, I think, is Dear Ben by Jennifer Lopez. If you haven't heard that before, Rebeka, give it a try. : )

look at his abdomen...the muscles are contracting...that is where he gets his power...he is like an opera singer....he gets power by manipulating his diaphragm.....most singers just sing with their upper register
