The last time Queen Mary and King Frederik were in Australia in an official capacity was in October 2013. The couple embarked on a royal tour coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House, designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon. The Crown Prince couple were welcomed by thousands of fans on the forecourt of the iconic building during a concert held on October 27th.
