SV crowd. GV interior. Procession making its way to dais. STV procession on stage. CU two professors watching. SV Queen Mother and Princess Royal mounting platform. GV interior. SV Earl Harewood watching. SV Countess of Harewood. LV Princess Royal about to make speech, lead for voice. SV Princess Royal speaks (natural sound): ...thought foremost in minds of everybody....is of great pleasure that you are here with us.....and have consented to become one of us, by receiving at my hands as Chancellor Degree of Doctor of Laws.....expresses her deep satisfaction that you are honouring University in this way". SCU people watching. SV Vice Chancellor about to announce degree. SCU Queen Mother listening. SV Vice Chancellor speaking (natural sound): "...Your Royal Highness and Chancellor, I present to you our beloved Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother the degree for Doctor of Laws". Fanfare begins, pan to Queen Mother. Fanfare ends. Princess Royal comes forward, shakes hands and says (natural sound): "...Through authority invested in me, I admit you to the degree of Dr of Law." Princess Royal curtseys and hands Queen Mother degree, kisses Queen Mother's hand, amidst applause. SCU Countess of Harewood and others applauding. SV Queen Mother at mike. SV Queen Mother saying (natural sound): "I'm always impressed when visiting Yorkshire by characteristics among its men and women, etc. ......and I believe that cricket has been played". CU Queen Mother continues: "Here many of our doctors and teachers are trained... Industry, Commerce, Art, Sport, and Literature." SV Queen Mother sits down amidst applause and joins Princess Royal. GV Leeds University. CU design on building over door. SV pan, Queen Mother and Princess Royal leaving University.

@@GodisMyNo1 Scheming and plotting behind the scenes so poor Margaret couldn't marry the man she loved. Nothing remarkable at all about her during the war, swanning about in furs while her husband shot helpless animals for fun while he smoked and drank himself to death, then she had the confounded nerve to blame her sister in law
