Would punching a hole in the center of the paper piece be helpful in removing the papers later?

As a beginner EPP person, I already feel better abut tackling this months block! Great basting tips...never thought to go opposite sides...just always worked around the piece.🤯

There also seems to be a lot of fabric that are not needed for the first block. I am a bit confused and afraid to cut now, because some fabrics are not even in the block. Are we supposed to choose which fabrics to use and just not use the others?

So it seems like there is a lit of extra fabric. So I’m wondering after we’ve pieced black one are those fabrics going to be used in any of the other blocks or is that now free to go into other projects thank you do you offer a custom box to keep all this stuff in?

I have the paper piecing kit but how do I buy the book?

I read in the back of the book that they recommend starching well before cutting. Of course I read this after watching your video which said you don’t have to even fabric. Seems confusing.

What brand is the cutting mat?
