Love Queen/Freddie Mercury! Play the Game is a great song! This version and Live from Montreal version are great examples of Freddie’s talent and genius.

there are not many singers or groups that can sound better live than in a studio but queen and frerddie are in a league of their own.

Agreed. Check out the reaction to Radio Gaga Live that we did too. My son and I had a really fun time with that one :)

“Now I wanna know what came next?” Answer: “STAYING POWER” THANK YOU, Guys! This is my all-time FAV concert, with several of my FAV live performances. REQUEST: “SOMEBODY TO LOVE” live at this same 1982 Milton Keynes Bowl. There’s a REMASTERED version of the video with BETTER HD, posted on: Chief Mouse channel. (The Milton Keynes performance of this song is much lesser-known than the oft-reacted-to version at 1981 Montreal… but, the Milton Keynes rendition is actually the one that Queen has included in their official compilation of Best Live Performances!) Also unique to this Milton Keynes show, are THREE songs that are only performed on-video, here: “Staying Power” “Action This Day” and “Back Chat” …They’re ALL awesome!

I was at this concert at the Milton Keynes bowl and it was initially filmed for a tv show called The Tube, but this film footage was then officially released, with all the songs in the set list on VHS before being released on DVD

I always call Milton Keynes the wild card concert. First time I heard a song from there I thought for sure Freddie was on something - he seemed so driven and super fast. BUT then I saw and heard that crowd -- THEY WERE PUMPING HIM UP. It was his fuel - He loved it and lucky you to be there!

Sat watching this with the biggest smile 🤣 knew you guys would dig it! The full show is essential viewing, they were about to bust into Staying Power, if you don’t think much of the studio version, then give this version a chance! Somebody To Love would be a good follow up to this in future videos FYI!! Have a great weekend guys, definitely check this full show out with a few beverages!
