I agree 💯% regarding your opinion that Freddie is the greatest singer in rock. There were other great singers but none had Freddie’s vocal range or stage presence and I’m saying this even though I’m a massive Led Zep fan too
Freddie was an absolute Musical Genius, what he could do so effortlessly is just mind blowing and he just made it look easy. He IS by far the best frontman of all time and IMO the greatest Male Rock Vocalist of all time
Buddy I agree Freddie is the best. And I don't believe anyone will ever better him. Queen are as good as anyone. Far better than most. Very, very, very, few can equal them.
I applaud you, that is the best comment and reaction, for a Queen performance, and trust I've seen a few reactions from others. Keep going down the Queen rabbit hole, they have a massive catalog of hits. You won't be disappointed.
That's what was special about 70's rock bands there live performance took you to church with the lead singer preaching from one side of the stage to the other
Totally agree with you..each of the band members are multi talented they write their own songs and music and Freddie was a born showman with a voice from heaven..Hs is so loved and missed..as are the whole band. Some of us were lucky to have lived through the Queen years..what great years ..I saw them live at Knebworth..I count myself lucky. They will live forever...so glad the younger generation are getting to witness their magic..
You should react to "Now I'm Here" from their Wembley concert in '86. Freddie was running up and down the stage and he still managed to belt out those notes! CRAZY! Since you're a drummer, you'll really like that performance because there's a lot of drumming in it. Roger said that everytime they perform that song, it wears him out., lol. He's an AMAZING drummer! 🥁
Great reaction. I agree completely. Freddie was all talent! The rest of Queen were amazing too. I don't think you have done the Queen at Live Aid 1985. Considered by many the greatest live performance ever. It was a benefits concert, with many greats but they stole the show. Also, for a really fun video, do the official video of Queen, I want to break free (its also a great song) - a parody of a local English soap of the time.
Thank you for your reaction-Freddie is the ultimate singer- Queen is special because they never let themselves be put in one genre go down this rabbit hole young man- you won’t be sorry! I’ve been a fan since 1976
Yes!! Love this performance. I love how Brian has his guitar in his lap while he is playing the piano, then he jumps in half way through and rips it up. Must check out Dragon Attack from this same concert and if you want to see a killer drumming performance from Roger Taylor check out I'm in love with my car
Someone to love ( I think from the same concert) . Queen was the first band I became a fan of, I think I've listened to everything they did. A great group of really talented musicians and also brilliant songwriters, and finally Freddie so majestic on vocals. ❤️ Brian May made his own guitar with his dad and now it's a prof of astrophysics, John Deacon I believe has his own patents right ? Awesome
I agree with you 100%. Freddie and Queen are the best. My first concert was Led Zeppelin in 1976. I also saw Queen that same year, and also a lot of other bands through the years. Queen with Freddie were the best concerts to me. I went to several of their concerts and loved them all. Led Zeppelin was also really good but as a young teenager Queen sounded even better than their albums. That was something that a lot of bands didn't have. I have also seen Queen with Adam Lambert and while he is a very good singer, the shows are not the same. I still liked the concert as it gives the remaining members of Queen a platform to do their music for a new generation of fans. I really enjoy your reviews.
Freddie, just an amazing performer and singer and you are right, every member of this band is at the top of their game every time. I never get tired of listening to Queen and I have been a fan since they began. I only got to see them live one time, but I will never forget that experience.
It was so cool seeing this done live when I saw them in September 1980. It's the last track on the album and my favorite one, there's other that got more airplay "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" but this and "Sail Away Sweet Sister" are also pretty good too. I've seen what are considered 3 of the best vocalists in rock in my lifetime. Freddie, Ann Wilson and Steve Perry. They all have their strengths.. but Freddie always had the audience in the palm of his hand no matter the size of the crowd.
@@drmorqWarrenProject Sleepin on the side walk has a recording, boston 1977 just one live performance of that song, Freddie managed to sing the song 3 key higher than Brian.
Oh man... my favorite! Thank you for a great reaction! I apologize for not looking back at your Queen videos but if you haven't done "Now I'm Here" Live @ Wembley, check it out! Very high energy.
If you want to really be amazed by Freddie, check out his duets with Spanish opera singer Monsterrat Cabballet. Mind blown, guaranteed. Here is the link to my favorite performance. The Golden boy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OPizyP4x30I.html
Thanks, Karen - I love his collaborations with "Montsy" - Golden Boy is amazing.. but I also Love, Love, "How can I go on" -- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ksNoe8W2jTc.html partly because of how happy and thrilled she looks... I read that she said Freddie showed her "freedom" - which, I guess you can understand -- she was a world-class soprano - and opera was all about "precision and perfection -- on the notes, the timing, etc." - so one can well imagine the fun she had with Fred!
I agree with you, and they are my favorite classic “rock” bands. Although not in my top favorites, I think Rush deserves to be that same tier.....incredibly talented musicians....great lyrics....
Thank you for a good reaction. I have just seen a documentary called The making of the album "A night of the opera". - it's here on RU-vid - with a little extra with Brian - and on appletv - where you can buy or rent it. It is with all four of them and the studio engineers and some radio folks - and producers. But it is made in later years so it is mainly Brian and Roger talking about their strengths and about the whole process. I enjoyed it very much - it emphasizes also the complexity of recording and composing - and shows how Freddie delivers - but not to that extent if there had not been a group called Queen.
It's not most of them can play multiple instruments - It is all of them. John, Brian and Freddie all play piano...not sure about Roger, but it wouldn't surprise me. All four of them play guitar, John and Roger both play drums and all of them have written global hit records. Mega talented
Love this song written by Brian about a friend’s break-up! I swear Freddie can do gymnastics & not miss a note or cause a wobble in the song!! Truly amazing!! But believe it or not I think Milton Keynes live version is a tiny bit better!! In fact, I think more channels should react to Queen’s performances at Milton Keynes 1982. FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS, SOMEBODY TO LOVE, PLAY THE GAME ..... ❤️❤️
Hey dude. FYI that 2 of your reactions just showed up under "copyright infringement" in topics - this one, and the Rod Stewart (Maggie May) one you did 3 weeks ago...
...and a bunch more just popped up. I think this will keep happening unless you pause the vids at least once, sad to say. Of the 8 vids listed in the topic, 6 are yours: Talking Heads - Burning...; Supertramp - Logical...; Jethro Tull - Locomotive...; The Mars Volta; Coheed and Cambria, and; Journey - When you love a woman. Sux, man....
