@1Nida

I’m Weak For Deaky she's also a very talented singer/songwriter, a hell of a marketing genius, and a great front man! I don't think Freddy or the rest of the band would have anything but respect and admiration for her. If she loved Queen enough to pull her stage name from one of their lyrics, it's a show of respect and love. I'm an above average singer with some pretty sick stage moves, but I could call myself "fat bottomed girl". All day long and I could never make enough money as a performer to keep a roof over my head. Come back and criticize her after you have sold out a stadium.

Awesome reaction. Freddie was a huge fan of Aretha Franklin and thus inspired him with this song. I highly recommend you see the movie thats in theaters, Bohemian Rhapsody, its a biopic of how they all met, got started, broke music barriers and totally went the distance. The concert scenes are insane! That being said, I highly recommend you also watch more live clips and recorded concerts, they just had total control over the audience like wizards, the crowds just ate out of their hands!

Listen to how they have a call-back like in church music from the South ! Also... Some of the lyrics about " working hard " " EVERY day "..... " Taking my hard earned pay to a home alone " ( I'm paraphrasing there just a bit but that's the sentiment conveyed when you REALLY listen ) Then Freddie talks about getting out of this prison cell ! ? In a real and figurative sense, what brother doesn't understand ..... THAT ? ! Matthews Fam.... Can you imagine if Prince was alive and he collaborated with Tina Turner to do a version of THIS ? She sings Freddie's part and Prince does the guitar solo ! In the way that only his Royal Purple Badness can do ! Please let me have your thoughts on this.

In the Bohemian Rhapsody movie there's a scene that perfectly demonstrates what you were talking about with the late nights of perfecting the songs. Basically they are recording Bohemian Rhapsody and there's the high "Galileo" that the drummer has to sing and Freddie just kept saying "you have to sign higher" and the drummer had to sing the high not like 20 times until they got it right and all he said when they were done was "my balls feel like their in my chest. Are we done now?"

This has always been my favourites song of all time. I heard it when I was a child of 9 and instantly fell in love with it and no other song has ever made me FEEL the way this one does. I would not normally ask a reactor to react to a cover version but I would love you to watch the cover of this by the late, great, George Michael and the surviving members of Queen, done at the tribute concert for Freddie, after his death. It is a very good cover but it is worth watching just to see the crowd join in and actually take over the vocals of that classic line near the end of the song. Sending love and best wishes, Helen in the UK xxx

Great reaction!! I really enjoyed it! Please keep on checking out their music it’s definitely worth it! Here are some interesting facts about them you might want to know: The band consists of: lead- vocalist (and piano) Freddie Mercury, lead- guitarist (and vocals) Brian May, drummer (and vocals) Roger Taylor and bass player John Deacon. - They sold over 300 mil records , what makes them one of the top 3 most successful bands of all time! - Every band member wrote at least one no. 1 hit ( a so far unbroken record)! - They were actually the first band ever that filled whole football stadiums with people! - After the World Guinness book of records they have the oldest fanclub of all time! - Their song Bohemian Rhapsody was voted as „the greatest pop- song ever written“ and their music video for this counts as the first real music video in music history what makes them the „grounding fathers“ of today’s music video era! - Until today they also hold the world record for the by far best- selling album in Great Britain ( „Queen: Greatest Hits“), which was in the charts for 500 weeks or to say it otherwise for 9 and a half years!! They made such great music and I bet you’ll enjoy all of it🎸🤟🏻 Maybe check out „Somebody to love Live at Montreal“ and „Liar (official video)“ next!!👍🏻 see ya! Have a nice day! edit: If you’re really interested in them and want to know more about them maybe check out the „Days of our lives“ documentary about them! It’s really interesting and also entertaining! (Maybe do a reaction to this?)

Damn bruh!! I wish you reacted to the LIVE version from Montreal in 1981!! The homie Freddy was drinking beer off his piano, and he was killing it!! Probably the best version of this song!!!

The movie brought me here Mr Mathews. I grew up with Queen. As you know, RU-vid is now flooded with Queen reaction videos. Most are terrible. However, your video grabbed and held my attention until the end. Many any because if your comment delivery. Keep up the good work and thank you... Joe

This song was written by Freddie from his inspiration for Aretha Franklin whom, sang at Freddie’s funeral.

Now back in the day , that was called Arena Rock. Filling baseball stadiums , Football fields , Hockey Rinks to capacity and selling out in minutes. Waiting for the radio station giving away tickets and waiting to be the fifth caller or answer a trivia question correctly without googling it because the internet was just on the horizon. Waiting for front row center tickets. Those were the good ole days

Under pressure with David Bowie and to hear his vocal skills listen to Barcelona but to embrace his beautiful voice you need to hear love of my life

Check out Brian’s shirt when they were playing at the concert, it is crazy. Like you said about songs being longer, you have time to actually enjoy it.

I grew up listening to Queen because my parents were fans in High School. I like the two you reacted to and The Show Must Go On Another One Bites The Dust Under Pressure Don’t Stop Me Now Killer Queen ... then there are the classics We Will Rock You We Are The Champions

Cool reaction man. I appreciate that you will be under pressure (pun intended) to play 80's queen. But I would suggest you keep mixing it up a little with some 70's queen. They have some groovy, hard rocking tunes with some wild vocals. Saw them live 3 times in the 70's. That being said try and stay away from live versions. Listen to studio or official videos to capture the essence of their music. Queen was a hard rocking kick ass band....

your reaction and comments NAILED IT right on Great reaction vid ! Queen was a few million lightyears beyond their time. They didnt just write music, they crafted Masterpieces much the same way a classic composer like Beethoven did in his day
