It wasn’t about her height. It was more about their prejudices about her age and being female.

Deann VP they used her height to reinforce their prejudices. Being of small stature was, and still is, seen as a very feminine thing - and arguably an age thing. It was a physical thing that many within the court used to remind her that she was seen as biologically inadequate for the monarchy.

@DSXmachine actually no there was about 5 or 6 queens before victoria if you included empress maude and queen jane grey but officially 4 queens before victoria which were queen mary tudor, Elizabeth tudor, mary stewart and anne stewart

"The Engine of Change" about the railroad in Britain was my favorite episode... Victoria was incensed with Albert for riding the train and then she tried and loved it... waving to everyone she passed 🚂

You probably know this by now but if you don’t, well… it’s Victoria. It was on from 2016 till 2019, and was on PBS. Nowadays it’s on Apple Tv and Prime Video👏🏼
