Maybe you want to start doing early Queen so you can see them develop and change in their look and in their style, although they were always versatile. You can tell early queen in the 70s because of the long hair and interesting clothing, then there was Freddy in leotards or leather pants, then the mustache and white jeans, and toward the end he grew a beard. White Queen live at Hammersmith 1975 is magnificent. For a more rocker try Liar live 1974. Thanks for reacting to Queen. Love your reactions. Glad you have your power back. Best wishes to all in Texas
Great reaction ❤️ yes you should check out One Vision from Wembley also the documentary of the making of it need to listen carefully to the words near the end if you do so funny 😆
A Brian May masterpiece written for the movie Highlander. Of course, as Brian has said Freddie always was able to elevate songs to a new level. You should consider subscribing to Brian’s RU-vid channel. He is a fascinating guy and still very active at 73. He just posted a collaboration with a bunch of much younger guitarists. It is very cool.
Would love to see you react to some early Queen so you can watch their progression! 20 years!! Try White Queen at Hammersmith, In the Lap of the Gods at the Rainbow, In the lap of the gods revisited at the Rainbow, You take my Breath Away Hyde Park 1976, Liar, Stone Cold Crazy.
those background song tells how you love Queen! thank you for Reacting one of my Fav. song i’m inspired with this song also from my private life. just im in tears now. Miss Freddie so much. anyways stay safe bro!... new subscriber here
Loved this reaction... You are right. So many layers for Freddie (and the entire band actually). You should dip your toe into some of their slightly older stuff too. Keep Yourself Alive (from their first album), The Millionaire Waltz, Seaside Rendevous... fairly different than what you've done so far. I love "You Take My Breath Away" also... Not even scratching the surface really... You could literally react for weeks if not months! The 3 part mini-doc called "Inside the Rhapsody" is super interesting too... All about the making of Bohemian Rhapsody (the song and the video). Have a blast! We will enjoy the ride right along with you! Stay safe!
John Deacon is one of the best bass players ever! His bassline in, "Millionaires Waltz" is unbelievable. Love Deaky. 18 album, Gold, Platinum, and double platinum.
Freddie will always hit you in the "feels" He exuded love when he sung to his fans. Now if you'd like another genre/layer, you can hear his operatic voice in "Exercises in Free Love" it was a demo he sent to Montserrat Caballe, an Opera female legend, when they talked about collaborating. He wanted to show her how versatile he was. Every note sung was all him, at first you won't believe it's him and that it's a female. Montserrat was blown away and "Barcelona" was born. They adored one another and it showed when they performed together.
You are so right with your opinion about reactors who hop on the Queen bandwagon looking for likes and subscriptions. Fly-by-nighters, who watch a couple of videos without really paying attention. How can they when they stop every two seconds to assure us that Queen ‘are fire’, like we don’t already know it. There are a few reactors who have become bona fide fans, I’m hoping you become one too. I’ve enjoyed all your Queen reactions so far, but mate you haven’t even scratched the surface yet. There’s so much more to Queen. Their music is so much more diverse than any other band then or now. From this same concert, which was EPIC, One Vision (loosely based on Martin Luther King’s “I had a dream” speech) Tie Your Mother Down, Now I’m Here. Or to see how truly amazing Freddie’s voice was, listen to his Impromptu. It will blow your mind. Thanks, I’ve subscribed.
@@RoverWaters Or think simply because they are a reactor and have listened to a few songs, that all of a sudden they are experts and think they have the right to make judgements about the band members private lives. That riles me
One year of Love has to be on your List of Queen's song to react too It was written for the movie Highlander but Man Freddie's vocals are outstanding on this track. also another fabulous early Queen track that has to be on any reaction list is White Queen Live at the Odeon Hammersmith 1975. Love watching your Queen journey
I love the empathy you have for Queen, this live version is my favourite, Freddie gives such an emotional performance here that you can almost taste it.
Great reaction 👏👏👏 without doubt , this is one of my favourite performances and the entire Wembley performances in 1986 were incredible (both night’s excellent... others will have their preference as to which night was best. For me both were spectacular . 👑❣️👑❣️👑
If you need something to lift your spirits, Now I’m Here at this same Wembley concert is guaranteed to do it. High energy, the whole band brought their A game and Freddie’s charisma is so potent you can’t take your eyes off him.
Sending love from NY, we’ve gotten a lot of snow too! IA, we were lucky to have him. It’s amazing how they adapted their songs for the stage. Always different, and exciting.
Dear you made me cry with your reaction and sensibility! Thanks because I feel and think exactly the same about Freddie! Yes Queen is amazing and FREDDIE is absolutely outstanding, transcendental... Thanks again! Long live the Queen! 👑❤️
thanks, kid! I love how Brian starts on keys... while Freddie is killing the vocals.. then all of a sudden Bri is on guitar... and both Roger and Brian are backing harmonies, while Freddie makes us all gasp and brings tears at the end... this is Queen... a "band" - not a "guy with some back-up musicians" -- :)
I LOVE your Queen reaction s and I’m also a little bit jealous you’ll get to explore literally dozens of amazing songs they’ve given us. Here’s hoping we get to see as much of the journey as possible! :)
"Sometimes it's your responsibility to keep stuff in history alive.... People who enjoy that music, should keep that momentum up and keep it going." Patrick, YOU GET ME!! That is EXACTLY how I feel.🙏💕
The other Wembley (I don't know if it was day one or two) version has the best "But touch my tears with your lips Touch my world with your fingertips" (which is the best lyric Brian ever wrote in my humble opinion...) Goosebumps every time
Great reaction. I see that you are a true music lover and you understand that music comes from the soul and goes to the heart. This is the phenomenon of Queen and Freddie. Thank you and I am a subscriber.
Hey Patrick!! Sending prayers your way 🙏🙏🙏 hope you & your family are finding the warm hugs!! Freddie is God Given there’s no other way to explain how freaking amazing he is! OMG this song is gorgeous. 🥺 You know Freddie is living forever in the music, legacy, and our hearts. I must be feeling extra sensitive today 😭😭😭😭 tears are flowing!! Patrick you are right .... Freddie was a blessing to this world. Here’s a song that I know you’d love called DON’T TRY SO HARD. I believe it’s a message from Freddie! 💗💗
😊 Me too... such an emotional thing to watch that performance along with the obvious excitement of the reactor. Loved this. Keep going, Patrick!! We are loving your reactions!
It ´s always pleasure and joy to listen to Queeen live, this perfect machine formed from four great musicians , singers and hitmakers, thank you👍I ´m waiting for your another Queen reaction💕
Can you imagine thinking up these songs, everyone in the band getting them out through their instruments, voices, and live energy? They were all amazing together and they’re will never be like them. And what can I say about Freddie that hasn’t been said already ❤️👏🏼🤗 Stay warm & safe.
I love how Queen envelopes you as they do us, their fans. Hopefully those who are new to the gift called Queen were as moved as we were. God"s blessing to you and yours.
Fat bottomed girl at bowl 82'....a kind of magic Wembley 86'....stone cold crazy 74'?..." love of my life "Rio de janeiro..."somebody to love" 81' Montreal and the list is so long.... unbelievable
If you whant to see Freddie sing this song even more powerful, try the nigth before the july 11 -86 omg his stand a moment on his theet-top singing, the nigth before this is way more powerful. I get somekind of shock first time I saw it……its recomend to you 👑
Freddie could pull your soul straight out of your body and then give it back. Check out Queen and David Bowie, Under Pressure. That message is still relevant today. You’ll enjoy the message.
You need to check out Queen and Adam Lambert Isle of Wright singing this song Who wants to live forever it's also amazing Queen guitar Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor have done over 200 concerts with Adam check this one out Adam dedicates it love from Toronto Canada
What a wonderful reaction, Pat. I love you. And you chose the best live version of this - it brings out Roger's drumming to perfection and gets to my heart every time. Please do a reaction to the official version of No One But You (Only the Good Die Young) because I know it'll reach to your soul like nothing else. Keep on, bro, down the rabbit hole!
Great reaction, love all of Queen. I think with this version which so amazingly beautiful, it's like Freddie is singing to you personally and that was his gift, he connected with people and still does, you can feel it, love and miss Freddie.
As a fellow Texan who lived thru the '21 Grid Failure Storm, I appreciate you making this video at the time. Poignant. Also, I am a huge Queen fan and one of my favorite things is watching people discover and fall in love with them. The entire band is phenomenal. Freddie was raw, unbridled, passionate talent. His voice, singular. His loss, tragic.
Thank you for react to Queen..lol a Queen-week sounds at the best you can give all of us here who are big and have loved Queen for a very long time 👑 Who whants to live forever is one of my top Queen-song, if you whant to hear it with even more power, hear at the first evening on Wembley july 11 -86 you come to cry, I cant almoust beliwe what I see and heare omg its the strongest preformans ever!! I think you should have ear-phone....you hear much better, glad I saw you as a reacter. Love your react, and you ar very sweet 👑🔥
Freddie wrote this for a film called Highlander. The lead character in the movie was an Immortal. He fell in love with mortal and had to watch her die of old age, while he didn't age a day. ~ Mrs Hohn
I was 18 years old the first time I saw Queen in 1975 and fell in love. Saw them several times after that and still in love 50 years later. Freddie, tu est mon ange 😘😇 je t'adore 🥰
Patrick, you always do a great job with your reactions! You're right about the many layers of Freddie's vocals. Try listening to Cool Cat. You Don't Know Me and Barcelona. I think you would really enjoy them. They're all so different! Keep up the great work!!! Looking forward to more Queen reactions!!!
Me encantó tu reacción!! Esta presentación es espectacular, impecable, te atrapa y quedas mirando maravillado de lo perfecta que es👑💫🌠 Gracias por la reacción y saludos desde Uruguay 🇺🇾
I got my first Queen album (Night at the Opera) in 1975 when I was 11 and I wore down the grooves on that thing. Now I'm introducing Queen to my 11 year old grandson. I don't know how, but I NEVER get tired of them.
I am a recent subscriber, so I don't know if you have done any on Freddie singing with the Spanish soprano Monserrat Caballe. There is whole album called Barcelona. Add these to your list if you haven't done them already!
@Patrick..just wanted to let you know, that I came back after one year to listen to your enthusiastic reaction and outlook on Freddie and the Boys again. Needed a little pick-me-upper tonight. Thank you very kindly. ☮
I sincerely appreciate your reaction. You are a genuine human and music lover. Very great observation and commentary. Keep doing what you do. And yeah holy freaking H what a perfect performance!!!
Queen are still playing and are more popular now than they have ever been. They tour most years. Not exactly the same but Adam Lamberts voice is as good as Freddies, just a little different. You should watch them, lots of videos on youtube.
And now I will pause and see the movie Highlande - again - by the way - Brian wrote it in the car after seeing a rough cut of the movie. so now I pause a bit.
