"It doesn't add a layer of complexity..." Actually, yes, that's exactly what is going on. I'm wondering if you meant to say, "It doesn't add a layer of convolution. Or perhaps you meant to express not adding something negative (such as "nuisance" or "encumbrance")? By the way, I'm not nitpicking grammar, I'm just making sure I correctly understand the game design.
To be honest, I like Kingdomino much better. It was simple, straightforward and very elegant. I love it for being few-minutes fun, which isn't too random and has a layer of strategy. When I am thinking about a filler game, I always pick Kingdomino, but I never choose Queendomino.
Not sure if it was already there in previous videos (may not have noticed it), but I really appreciate the camera showing the table when you describe the components or the turn actions (and not only the still pictures).
I adore Kingdomino. I enjoy the game as both a light breezy fast paced puzzle and also as a filler. Queendomino is absolutely fantastic and was an instant buy several months ago. My game group and friends love both games. I didn’t hear you mention it, but Queendomino can be combined with Kingdomino to make it possible for a four player game with the 7x7 grids. Just that much more fun! 🤓
Killer_of_ Eden Thank you for your comment! We love Kingdomino in our house, and I had thought I had heard the two games could be combined but was unsure when I didn't hear it mentioned. Your insight has put Queendomino on my wishlist for sure. Thanks again!
Kirsten Lunde I’m happy I could help shed some light on the subject! I sincerely hope that you’re able to play Queendomino soon! I’m sure you’ll have a splendid time. 🙂
