Feels like we should start expecting Ru to have a favorite each season. First her random love of Crystal's mullet to now Jorgeous. Honestly there's always going to be some drama with these subjective decisions, but we all know regardless of the drama chances are the top queens are gonna end up in the finals which might just be another kinda of rigging.... I mean, Canada DR was kinda blatant about it.

Jorgeous winning this challenge was the best form of gaslighting I've seen on the show in a while. You know they only gave her the win to stir up drama and resentment.

The problem Is not even that rupaul Is chosing favorites i mean, its still rupauls drag race, what is bullshit Is how the judges are making up some weird objective excuses to put her in the top, let alone winning.

So Jorgeous shaded Cynthia but how about everyone else? Why didn’t she keep the same energy with Raja, Mik, Bob, Gigi, etc? Because these girls would eat her up…

This will forever be the one win that is, no matter how you look at it, supremely undeserved. The most ridiculous slap to the face to other hardworking queens on that stage. I will never understand why production pushed for this. This was the peak of their meddling, even if it was just as bad this season, it wasn’t so jarring in contrast to what we saw. I didn’t even watch the season after that for a while, I refused. Haha, it took a loooot of convincing.

If Willow or Angeria or Camden who won that week, I would agree with it

I remember Michelle saying its simple, but its good. You could hear it in her voice that it was killing her to say that. To quote her, "It's a piece of fabric". That's what she wanted to say and you cannot tell me that. The entire judging of this episode was terrible: First of all, I say what many don't want to say: Jorgeous' look was bottom worthy. It was slapped on at the last minute, literally. It's just a curtain and cookie cutters, that's it. The entire judging of this episode was terrible. Now, Jasmine's look was so pretty, that's a safe outfit. That was pretty and well-done, even tho it's not the best. Lady Camden should've won, it was the best look and she made it out of a fucking kiddie pool!!! How do you do that?!!! Angeria, Willow, and Daya were the clear highs, and Deja should've been safe. As for Maddy, her look was bad, but it was still a constructed dress. She should've been low. Kerri, oh dear God, how was she safe? That look was LITERALLY half finished, it was just a top. It should've been Kerri and Jorgeous in the bottom, with Kerri going home. And if you wanna put Maddy in the bottom with Kerri, Kerri is still going home. The only reason Maddy lost was because Jasmine was DEVOURING that lipsync. As soon as she hit the ground, I said, "Oh, Maddy, you're going home". Maddy, however, still gave emotion in that lipsync, but it was not up to par with Jasmine. Now, against Kerri, however. We've seen Kerri lipsync, it's not good. Against Kerri, Maddy would win that lipsync 100%

This win just made jorgeous look forced and the sequence of her being safe from elimination week after week even after she went really bad in the challenge, and mark my words, she will be in the top 4 taking the place of some fan favorite that has been doing great the whole season (either angie, willow, camden or bosco) and THATS going to sour her reputation even more in the PROGRAM, i know this is beyond her, but we all know the RPDR fandom is the worst and unfortunately is going to fall on her head sooner or later. I like her, i really do, but her narrative is lacking too much for a reality tv for her being in the top 4.

I didn’t even watch this season and it still blows my mind that this was a winning look. I don’t even need to see the other outfits. Naysha Lopez was sent home on the first episode of season 8 for making the same damn thing but floor length.

Gottmik doesn’t have a leg to stand on when she won the same way Jorgeous won.

This episode should’ve been all about Lady Camden cuz the storyline was in it, her painting skills glowed up, her outfit was elegant whimsical creative and elegant, like, why suddenly choose a Jorjeous win, it didn’t make sense in the fashion skills nor in the editing

not to be that girl.. but i dont think people realise the amount of behind the scenes riggory that actually does play into this reality tv show. the reality is that its a competition and she competed against girls who made far more intricately constructed outfits than she did. no shade to jorgeous of course but we need to remember that they all have the same time provided to get this look together in time for hitting the runway. any working eye knows that a look like camdens or angerias would have required more time and effort to achieve that final look (skill or not). if either had won, or even willow, who had already being doing so well throughout the comp along with angie, it wouldn’t have been talked about because they would have been praised and what would come out of it other than fellow fans and queens being like yep makes sense. if anything, the episode wouldn’t have even been remembered as much as it is. and thats because we got to see rupaul award a girl for minimal effort! of course this is on purpose because here comes the cause of the drama! which leaves it up to the girls to produce content all on their own. this is the kinda thing this show does to engage social media interaction, conversations with friends, and even more of a reason to tune in and see what the hells going on! while i still love the show and will always watch, i don’t think a lot of people realise this, and NO queen participating deserves any backlash, but unfortunately the success comes with a price and honestly.. im not even sure some of them realise this is all on purpose :/

Jorgeous looked good, she sold it, and she cobbled together somethinf that looks good on the surface. So she could have been safe for having skated through, but that win was purely to get everyone agitated

This shows that Ru/production care more about storylines than how the queens actually performed. But I'm glad this is a one time thing and the rest of the season the winner of each challenge is deserving. If this favoritism is a recurring thing it could double back and leave bad taste for the viewers, hurting the ratings etc

The judges thought THIS was a winning look? I mean it's cute and all but a design challenge should also take into consideration the craftsmanship. The judging here (and has been for a while) is kinda unfair but I guess that comes with age.

Im just more shocked she didnt make merch just to twist the knife in! Make pins of the stars, make a shirt of the outfit, etc.

The critics feel so scripted and staged to match Ru's decisions (aka the producers decisions)

Challenge wins are completely irrelevant anyway post-season 9. All that matters now is that you win the lip sync at the end.
