How could this song have needed to grow on you? It's such a Queens song, and a definite Oingo Boingo influenced track. I've heard someone say the obvious Dead Kennedys, but DK was very influenced by music like Oingo. Blah... Not to mention lyrical masterpiece as usual from Homme. Though I'm definitely getting the vibe that Michael Shuman collaborates on lyrics with Josh these days. Because Shuman was part of some of the best lyrical content I've seen in the past 15 years with his Mini Mansions work.

Always love seeing Jon in some of my favorite bands' videos. Also, I have yet to hear the whole album (I just recently finished listening to Like Clockwork, my only full-length I've listened to from QOTSA as of now), but if this is one of the worse songs from the record, I guarantee I'll like Villains more. Plus, it's a dance rock album from what I hear, and Like Clockwork was a slow-tempoed album that wasn't quite my cup of tea.
