But I can say that Saina was a competitor in early 2010s along with Yihan Wang, Wang xixian, etc. And she is still in the top international circuit competing against TTY, Marin, Sindhu etc. She is technically not that much superior, but her fighting spirit and powerful smashes makes the point.

@@Karlmarx-r9d China hasn't won the woman single title in the World Championship since 2013. They are still a very strong country, and there is a sign of them resurging in the recent years, but you can't deny that they aren't as dominant as they used to.

@@austinxa2339 true but 15 years back, though level was not at its best but was single handedly dominated by chinese players due to which female players of others countries didnot had the understanding of a better gameplay against Chinese players.Saina definitely stood against the Chinese domination

Wang Shixians yell when she wins is so beautiful in this clip. You can hear and feel the amount of emotion that it means to her to win that title. I almost cried.

I like Tai Tzu Ying, because of the beautiful gameplay, supple physical strength, especially the extremely high-level backhand shots. She often comes back strong after a failure. She is the queen to me.

Wang Yihan used to be my favourite player. Sad that her body couldn’t resist the pain from her injuries. 20 super series title is great achievement. She could have gotten more if she was injury free

The title should not be the queen of the court, just put it who has the most titles. Queen is deserved to the one whom win the big titles the most. That's where badminton's fans remember the most in their whole life cos its big and momental. Just like taufik hidayat, he didnt win much titles but people remember him as a legend due to his achievements in big games. Just my two cents ✌️

Dont be biased, im an asian and i love current woman singles cos they r at least 8 top player whom r very2 good and entertaining, and the best among them is either carolina marin n tai tzu ying. Wheres the spaniard cos shes the true queen i tell u. The best in history even.

this list is made based on how many titles they have/had collected. Carolina Marin only has 13/less titles as far as i know (exclude bwc and olympic)
