Great coverage, let's hope Queensbury Tunnel gets repaired and reopened as part of a greenway.

It is great seeing you and Wetdog teaming up,my last visit to the station on a train was when I was 8 we were in the Keighley toBradford train waiting for a Manchester City supporters train going towards Bradford Park Avenue. We were going as well and when we returned we caught the Halifax train and got off and went under by the tramway and caught the Keighley train home.

In these days of cleaner air, they simply MUST re-open the Queensbury tunnel as part of a Greenway. (and why not Clayton, too?) An excellent connection from Halifax to Bradford.

I definitely agree with you on Queensbury ! It should be reopened ! Clayton tunnel would be a bit of a challenge as the east end is now apparently an housing estate

I have a mystery for you; the lost village of Cochin or Cockin. There is a Cockin Lane that led to the village but now leads to nowhere. I surveyed the area with a group of school children. We discovered the village was served by three wells or streams. We went on to discover the wells/streams ran under the station. We wondered if the village was demolished to make way for the station? Can anyone throw any light on the mystery?

Ive been there many times, initially in the early 70s when it was possible to make out where platforms had been etc. Now its very difficult to reconcile that it was ever such a busy and important station. I live in Australia now (originally from Thornton)so I really enjoyed your video. Thanks 👌
