When Bas grasped Oh-Aew's hand for the first time, we can see the male and female bathroom sign on the right side on the screen. I think that was a nice symbolism to show the contrast of male-male and male-female situation.

Teh continued to push Oh and tried to 'tutor' Oh in ep 4 until Oh said they werent friends anymore. Teh still wanted Oh to do well on his admission exam but then their friends went to Teh as he was leaving for bkk in the morning and told him that Oh wasnt attending school and wasn't going to write the admission exam(!). That was the ONLY reason why Teh felt he had no choice but to give his spot up, bc he thought Oh wasn't going to even try to get into uni where as he could write the admission exam. He didnt do that to "make ohaew happy", he thought it was the only way Ohaew was going to go to uni and he knew how much ohaew's dream meant to him. To me, it was quite obious that no oe was more happy/proud of Oh (other than his own parents) getting into uni than Teh himself, the one who pushed Oh and watched him get better and improve on his own. Am i tripping? did i watch a different series?

1000 stars is a good bl to watch, although it is a Thai bl the storyline is refreshing and the chemistry between the main actors feels so natural to watch.
There's two kinda shots that I adore: back shots (the back of characters) with a pretty view infront, and a simple, straight shot. I make the same noise you do when those scenes happen 😂

OMG Because I watched the series every week when it was on air, watching bts and analyzing every single episode over and over again (since it was the only thing I could do to not go crazy waiting for the next episode), I thought I'd already analyzed everything that could possibly be analyzed and discovered all the little details that could possibly be discovered, but watching your reactions and analysis made me realize that no, ITSAY is definitely never analyzed enough😂😂 You mentioned even more details that I hadn't noticed, I'm in shock. I discovered your ITSAY reactions today so I watched the 5 videos and enjoyed them so much, Thank you!! I love your editing skills and your comments and reactions are so relatable and funny. I can't wait for the 2nd part :( the teachings that series like these leave behind are for life. ps: I love your singing voice omG ps2: I confess that I'm a nerd for beautiful well-done shows like these, and I'm a bit picky, I don't enjoy a lot of shows just for the fact that they're BLs (ITSAY is not BL for me but y'know what I mean), so If I find something as special as this, I'll probably return to your channel to recommend it lol. Right now I'm watching the only GMMTV BL that I feel comfortable recommending and it's "A Tale of Thousand Stars". It may not be of ITSAY's cinematography-and-Oscar-worthy Level but it's definitely MUCH more special and magical than the typical Thai gmmtv BL series (which - to be very honest- tend to be more commercial than artistic). Ofc it’s not 100% realistic but at least It's not as unrealistic as a cliché lol. It’s far from the oppressive city atmosphere, which I appreciate, and it also has really beautiful and magical soundtracks. Try watching 1 episode to see if you like it ^^

A tale of thousand stars 🤩 I would rank it the 2nd best show after ITSAY.... It it almost as good as ITSAY and the chemistry is just wow.... I bet u will end up loving it as much as ITSAY. The thing u need to keep in mind is that the 2 characters are polar opposite. One is young, rich and from a powerful family.... While the other is in his middle age and a poor state officer. U need to keep this in mind while trying to understand the decisions that they make. It's a really heart touching love story 😍 Next I would have recommended We beat love.... But thr show has it's cons. The chemistry between the lead pair is really good.... But there are some inconsistencies and not realistic things there.... Also, a their relationship kinda is toxic (One of the character is fuckin manipulative... While that may seem romantic on screen, it's not in real life)
the music score can be found on nadao bangkok's youtube channel! highly recommend giving it a listen because it is absolutely GORGEOUS and wonderful. on another note, i'd highly recommend Bad Genius the Series. though based off of the movie, it offers a lot more in terms of plot and really fleshing out the characters. it recently won best script, best series, and best director at the 17th Komchadluek Awards, which in itself is very prestigious! billkin (teh's actor) also won best actor at the same awards show :) P'Meen, who is the director for part 2, is actually a screenwriter of Bad Genius, so really he has a lot to offer in directing the next 5 episodes. nadao's other series (hormones, project s, in family we trust) are highly praised too. in reality all of their productions are amazing!
Yeah.... I heard a lot about it.... The characters of Teh and oh are a lot like the real life characters of Bk and PP. It makes sense because this story was specifically written by keeping them in mind.
Very well said about the relationship and feeling between Bas and OhAew in different from Teh and OhAew 👏. The right choice isn’t always THE CHOICE. How TehOhAew gravitate towards each other is magnetic and how ITSAY willing to spend time to build up little details and moments for their development, that’s so beautiful and gold. Nadao was very generous in releasing all the OST and instrumental versions of all the BGM for ITSAY on their YT channels. It’s awesome.

Regarding the black polo floral shirt... it's the same shirt he wore when they were on the beach with friends for the first time and you called Teh a "policeman on vacation" hahahahaha I'm not sure if the color has symbolism (EP1) though but I agree with you that black suits Teh.
Out of all BL that will be recommanded to you, there will be many good ones honestly like Sotus and all. But you mentionned not being into BL, in the sense of it being it's own kindda of genre and cliché and sometimes sooo problematic, awkward and full of ppl. Wich is why after watching ITSAY you can tell it's so unique and why i wish you would keep reacting to those unique shows because of how smart and interresting your reviews are. Because also maybe BL or other shows might be good and popular but aren't that deep or well thought than ITSAY. I hope you will react to Gaya Sa Pelikula. Because this show is not for "bl fans" but for everyone, because it's real and woke. it has the best ost, a very realistic and raw storyline that is simple as well. It's unique and really aware of it public, teaching lessons about stereotypes, internal homophobia, social issues and coming out. I wish you will react to it because it's well produced, well written and meaningful. 🌻
i'm watching this after the poster for season 2 dropped and when she mentioned the promises teh did but never fulfilled I gasped ???? like the new title is *I promised you the moon* and apparently the meaning has something to do with doing empty or unrealistic promises and yeah... it's gonna be painful isn't? also that scene in the beach from ep3 the chinese letters on teh's shirt read *moon*

i think bas's character is not developed throughout the show because itsay is majorly in the point of view of teh's. we see the entire story almost through only teh's eyes, the little scenes that are there which is shown through the perspective of other characters, including ohaew, are almost always like a residue from teh's scene, connecting his scene with theirs. the reason we do know tarn's ambitions and friends are because they are related to teh as well. but with bas, moraoyulok - we never see them chilling in their home or doing whatever (if it is not related to teh) as teh's pov doesn't capture those things. and honestly, idk i really like it when series/movies do what itsay did with bas you said, we never knew anything about him except that he likes ohaew (considering that is the only information required for teh),, when series are majorly from one character's point of view, but they have other characters and instead of showing their side of the stories there are small revelations, it makes you feel even if the story is about the main protagonist, the lives of other characters are still going. it makes them feel real and not some fictional writing !!!

I just finished the series earlier today (before work) and I think I'll need a month to be able to move on with the help of your reaction videos (and analysis). I'm not sure if it makes sense but I observed that most of the time Oh Aew is at Teh's left side (or the frame's) which is believed (Buddhism) to be lucky for this side receives positive energies into the soul. Teh is so lucky!!!
Pls pls pls plssss check out Until We Meet Again! It gives us an amazing, touching plot, fantastic acting by the actors like Fluke Natouch and the healthiest relationships I've ever seen. You wont regret it.

Hi, could you perhaps check out Chasing Sunset. Its a Filipino GL mini series. I can't say I'm particularly sold with the romance but I like the way they dealt with mental health and queer people issues.
