I actually really loved the joint parenting they had going on with eugene, cause as an aroace(spec) person when i think of the future i see myself coparenting with platonic friends and not necessarily romantic partners. It felt great to see that sort of dynamic in a show

Absolutely love this, and have to agree that intentional or not Drawtectives is the most amazing polyamorous representation I've ever seen. Being polyam myself, and not really knowing of any other polyam couple that could so easily be cannon, the silly drawtectives cast never fails to make me happy. I hope more people see your video!!! You deserve it! :D

So I'm someone whos not so well versed in queer concepts and I genuinely choked up most of your points as improv shenanigans. So it was cool to learn about these things and how people connect with these characters. Thanks for the brief education. I love hearing media analysis of smaller form media, and I happen to really like drawfee and have recently finished drawtectives I always saw the sort of queer angle on the main cast but it was really well put here. Hope your first video isn’t your last because this was great!

There is room for improvement on the technical side, but this still was a joy to watch! Drawtectives is a series I can't stop binge watching over and over again. Its representation is just as effortless as its comedy, it's such a breath of fresh air.

19:46 Asexuals and aromantics can choose to be in those types of relationships! It may seem contradictory, but it’s all up to one’s preferences and comfort regarding that stuff. For example, personally, I hate the idea of sex for myself, but I don’t mind it when characters are doing it. I don’t feel romantic attraction, but romance is really fun and cute to me. Like, if I already had a strong bond with someone and they wanted a romantic relationship with me, I could be convinced because I’m not repulsed by that idea. The same could apply to sex as well. Hell, you could also not feel sexual attraction but still like sex. Just like the human experience, asexual and aromantic experiences are widely varied and different with every person.

btw, I stopped watching at exactly 2 mins because I am eating crunchy food and can't hear you, I will return to actually watch this (If I remember) and as someone to has made some videos for now abandoned channels, if you find yourself unable to talk louder, try incressing the volume in editing, of coruse that will make background sounds come through more, but, background sounds are better then the viewer having a hard time hearing you.
