These two were the only two who could and did continue Grant’s legacy. Their love of science and their passion to question why, is precisely why TKOR was so successful. I never miss an episode, especially if Cali is guesting, because Nate seems to gain an extra dimension with her vivacious enthusiasm and skilled input. Love this channel.
That's very true after Nate and Callie left I stopped watching TKOR I don't really like the new girl who hosts it now and idk it's not as good as it used to be anymore
@@n.k.central8279I personally really liked Grace, but everyone else kinda just... Didn't do it for me. Instead, I followed Nate and Calli individually
@@yourbifriendaspen3629I like Grace, but the content just isn’t there… and the whole situation behind them firing Cali just turned me off of the channel. I unsubbed, and it looks like now they struggle to hit 50k per video. They used to get millions of views. Grant’s wife really destroyed it.
@@anonymeister123I agree with this, I like Grace but the content just went in a direction that wasn’t quite my style. It was a little too repetitive, a little too focused on the younger audience rather than the audience they had grown and aged up with, they were trying so hard to appeal to the algorithm that often it felt like the science was an afterthought, and then the Calli situation just showed that our values clearly didn’t align anymore. It was a sad unsub, but I’m glad to have that place in my feed replaced with Nate once again.
@@supertornadogun1690 i heard a story years ago about someone dumping LOx onto a lit charcoal grill..... it... evaporated..... even most of the sheet metal the grill was made from.
Nice to see someone upholding Grant's legacy. Edit: I'm not hating on Grace btw... It's just tkor has shifted niches so dramatically that it hard to recognize it.
You two were the heart and soul of TKOR and I'm so glad you guys are back together on RU-vid, I really hope Callie sticks around, I've missed the chemistry so much, Nate you light up so much more doing these things like you used to and especially with Callie, so thank you for bringing back the dynamic duo I watched for years
Always loved the chemistry you two shared onscreen together. There's such a sense of wonder and the way you two feed on each other's excitement ends up being infectious for us as well.
I missed calli's cackle when things suddenly become a massive fireball... honestly the joy she feels when things explode is enough to warm the heart, and the table, floor, room, house or anything else remotely close that is combustible
YESYESYESYESYES these 2 are magic together. Gives me nastalgic TKOR vibes . They are the reason the channel was even interesting to watch. You can see their excitement when they do these science tests !!!
Me and my wife have missed both of you guys together. Watching you both was our nightly routine before bed for so long and we were devastated to see you both leave TKOR. Thank you for carrying on Grant's spirit
So glad to see you both together again! I'm guessing the Leidenfrost effect prevented the blade from quenching: it was mostly touching "really cold air" instead of a thermally conductive fluid that transferred heat out of the steel. How about investigating liquid metal reactions with LOX? I.e. melt small crucibles of aluminum, brass, bronze, etc. and drip them into a container of LOX (similar to making metal shot by dropping in water, but replace the water with LOX!)
Nate & Calli, you guys are the bomb! Two of you together got all the right chemistry to make for an awesome YT channel, the proof is already there, you should really consider it. I gave up watching TKOR when Calli left, it was nice to see her again..
This is truly the best thing ever, I have missed y’all’s Collabs. This needs to become a thing again. TKOR has went drastically down hill without you two.
Love seeing her as a guest ❤ Miss the old days/old channel, but I love your channel for what it is as well. Wouldn't mind seeing her more often, though! Love the chemistry. And of course the content.
Oh this is the best thing I've seen in ages. You two together again (if only for a moment) really warms the hearts of us long time viewers, I'm sure we would all love more collaborations if possible 🤞
Nice to see Callie again. You two always had a great working symbiosis. Also. People who like fire, in controlled environments are always good in my books. Haha. Hope everyone is taking care.
So great to see you together again! Never missed an episode of tkor when you two were there, so much energy and knowledge from you both. Glad to see the colab and hope to see more, but also so happy to see you two doing your own thing as well!
Boy, just reading the comments solidifies my belief that you two could and SHOULD have your own show! It would really take off! You are doing great Nate, but it seems the people have spoken. They would love to see you two back together, as a team, making videos like the king of random, except BETTER because people LOVED the king of random because of how YOU BOTH work together! Great, chemistry! Keep it up!😄👏👏👏👏👏👏
Calli + Nate = just a fun video. It almost doesn't matter what you two do together, you just seem to have a genuine good time and it always makes for an enjoyable watch. For things to burn in liquid oxygen, how about gummy bears? Or something porous like a sponge cake.
It was great to see you guys together again in this incredible video. Reminds me of good times on TKOR. You both are a breath of fresh air! Blessings to you my friends!
This is the high quality and fun entertainment that we miss from you two, thanks for collaborating! I hope there is more of this in the future!! 🙏 Overall very entertaining video!
Wait, a couple of internet legends finally getting back together for a project ? Pardon my French but this is "Original Mythbusters reunited" level of awesome, totally made my day.
another really fun, entertaining banger of a video, even had the cool slow mo clips! and it’s always nice to see you and cali collab, it opens the nostalgia flood gates for me every time :) much love
I love Both Your Love and Enthusiasm for the projects and Naturally Goodheartedness that Shows... You 2 id watch all the time, ive always been curious howd you fit in with The Mythbusters if you were both a bit Older, i would still like to See Kari Byron and Calli Gade Interact and Burn Stuff
I briefly watched tkor, and seen the struggles you and much of the crew had with the channel. It's genuinely great to see you continue your own crazy experiments and ability to to teach in your own way without the pressure of having to act out for the camera. I love the personality showing. You can easily tell the difference. Great to see you bring back your friend too for some cool experiments. Glad you two are still great friends. I look forward to future content and all the fun little mishaps
Damn it's good to see you guys in a video together again. I'd love to see you guys acid etch the absolute hell out of that blade to see the differences in grain structure from LOX quenching vs. air-cooled/water/different oils. Maybe add in LN2 to see if the much colder temp. makes any differences there.
Juste PARFAIT ! Pour moi vous êtes encore la marque de commerce de TKOR , j’adore vous voir ensemble pour faire des vidéos... c'est incroyablement surréaliste de vous voir dans le DÔME !
