I coached against Quentin during his HS years. He is being a bit humble calling himself average. However, PSU coached him to that elite level. He beat a wrestler of mine 5-3 at the end of their senior year. My wrestler was an NCAA qualifier but not a placer. PSU coaching is on a new level.

6:20 7:23 it's not about how you start 9:25 13:43 "there's a lot more fun things you can do than be here." 14:53 "step on their toes and push them over." 17:07 miserable trying to be someone you're not 17:28 any high-level athlete has home problems 22:00 22:56 29:00 30:25 34:54 35:15

The interviewer is fantastic. Asks great questions and then lets the subject speak.

He has that babyface curse. Where he doesn't look tough but you know he's a freak'n bad ass.

I met Quentin Wright, he is a genuine super nice guy. A lot of PSU guys in the wrestling program are super good people. Not on the mat though! Lol

I love that he prayed and asked God why he was miserable. Then acted on the answer to his prayers.

Extremely humble .. I've meet him several times when he and David helped Ken chertow out at his weekend camps at his home. What a great kid he was.
