Barely. Megs wouldn't be swindling the Insecticons if he really was. This is why his plans ultimately fail. Screwing over your allies will inevitably result in a swift kick to your metallic pants. Also, this falls under what I call the Type 1 or 2 Rule. Megatron says be careful, Starscream says just do it... or visa versa: Starscream says be careful, Megatron says they're gonna do it anyway.

To be fair, that was more recklessness than disobedience. Starscream surprisingly got off very easy in this episode, though. He only got chewed out once after getting his laser blast reflected.

I wouldn’t say “Mindless,” a more accurate term would be “Emotionless.” Since sometimes appears the same way as Shockwave, emotionless and logical. Not as scientific, but just as cold and merciless.

@@willow9490 Its the Evil Barry White voice of Frank Welker done thorough voice effects. The EBW voice was used with Dr. Claw and Darksed. Welker also voiced Megatron.

Pretty sure blowing up the insecticide was an on the spot decision. Earlier in the episode, he said he wanted to obtain it, for use in the future. IE for when the Insecticons become no use to him anymore.

@@BlueBomberTurbo Yea, but he still wasn't lying. He just changed his mind midway, & as far as they knew that was his intention, but you're not wrong there. Lol Also the not lying part purely referred to Megatron's message of danger to the Insecticons being on the other side, so considering the insecticide was there he didn't lie. He just omitted certain details, & it's Megatron we're talkin about, so he'd never willingly let the Autobots have such a weapon to use on his forces. It's a safe bet to assume he thought that losing the insecticide would be a possibility.

@@ManuelJordan317 He also appears in Triple Takeover. But that’s the only other time he showed up. He got more appearances in the US and UK comics before showing up in IDW’s MTMTE comics.

I've actually never been able to stomach Prime or Animated precisely because I was raised on old school ("real") animation, like these, despite the loads of mistakes. It made the Bay films gut wrenching, but watchable in a standalone sense kind of universe, despite how fugly I still think they made the Transformers look (and how certain actors or lack of cohesive team sets sucked the life and authenticity out of many scenes, but I suppose I shouldn't go there right now...). Prime and Animated? Couldn't get past the outlandish redesigns. That's an acquired taste of its own. I suppose Robots in Disguise probably bridges all gaps, but nobody seems to remember that series. Kinda weird, but at least it looked pretty damn fine. Not commenting on BW. I don't really qualify what still counts as part of the original series, and also somewhere in the gap but appealing to both regardless of how primative. Not commenting on BM because... oh, wait. That didn't really happen. Yeah, I forgot that never happened. G'bye.

Yeah I hate insects too. Especially pests like ants, flies, termites, roaches. The only insects I like are butterflies and ladybug

The decepticons are giant targets to both humans and autobots whether in their robot modes or any of their vehicle modes.

Bugs can be annoying. I am sure our Maker made them for a reason though.
