"Images of your face are deleted and never shared with any outside companies..." Its facebook so any claims like this is a lie. We know it is a lie because that is their business model. What they should have said is that the images are sent to the company then deleted from the headset and they are shared with inside companies not outside companies. FB always double talks when doing PR. Anyway I m not buying a headset that listens to me all the time and films my environment if it is from FB because they have a track of not respecting people's privacy. Also this requires a FB account which the company can block or delete for any reason rendering this as an expensive brick. No thanks

I could be wrong but, the point of them collecting the facial data is to sell you more advertisements in the future. Basically giving a fast algorithm response from consumer to manufacturers. Like frowning or looking away from the ad and not interested, the Fb algorithm learns and suggests other ads. Basically, this is extremely scummy for people who pay for an product and not wanting to become the product.
