Which of the following occurs more often: 1. 'There once was a man from Gilneas' 2. Someone in the comments mentioning that Toast almost missed lethal by using his dagger before Southsea Deckhand
did you guys realise that he missed lethal at 24:41 if it wasn't for the concede. Toast was going to attack with his weapon which would make the deckhand unable to attack
At 24:40 if you hit with your weapon your southsea would have lost charge and you would have lost! The opponent threw the game with the early surrender
ArcanumVader why say jabait if toast almost lost it he clicked you can see because a decision popped up to squelch your opponent, so he really clicked it
Holding down the LMB lifts your hero icon and creates an arrow. To attack the enemy hero, you hover over his icon and release the LMB. To cancel the action, you either move the cursor away from an eligible target and then release the LMB, or press the RMB. It is also the RMB that is used to pop up the squelch option. So the fact that "he clicked it" proves that it was exactly the Jebait.
Gawd that missed lethal at the end almost gave me a heart attack. The great toast, King of Mechanics, forgot about deck hands charge. Saved by the bell.
Toast at 24:40 you messed up bad. I wish the priest didnt surrender because you attacked with your weapon first, your 5/5 charger loses charge before it can attack and tje priest is left at 2hp potentially killing you next turn
if the priest in the last game hadn't surrendered toast might have lost since he was gonna swing with the dagger before the deckhand at one weapon charge, assuming the priest could still do 13 damage on the next turn
New potential interaction: Jaraxxus played and then immediately reduced to 0 health with Sonya on board. Gotta get it in before he resolves, like the Paladin secret to reduce Health to 1 followed by Mage's. I doubt it works anyway, but you never know when it comes to HS.
There once was a man from Gilneas, Who prophecy told would betray us. And so in one night, With one swift sword strike, We lie on the ground 'cause he's slain us.
Hey toast the new priest spell 'twilight's call' which resurrects 2 death rattle minions, double procs the priest quest. Could you see quest Nzoth priest becoming an actual presence in the meta?
Man, there are way too many people in these comments who think Toast was about to misplay at the end. If you look at it again, you'll see the squelch option pop up from him trying to right click stop the attack, and his portrait was still green so he hadn't confirmed the attack either. It was just him trolling his viewers.
23:06 why not Ferryman Patches>Shadowstep Ferryman>Patches to face>Ferryman Patches>Patches to face and then the two Elementals? 5 more damage, same threat to board with Deckhands.
Was toast about to throw the last game? Enemy on 8 health, dagger on 1 durability and before enemy conceded he went to attack using valeera meaning the southsea deckhand wouldnt have gained charge so then he wouldve left priest on 2
Build a Quest Rogue deck that finishes quest at turn 8. Sonia at turn 8, make sure opponent has a minimum 1/5 on board play a boar/patches 5 times wile trading at turn 9 complete quest and go face. might want to build a deck that can last to turn 8-9 and play the value game by having minions that make more of themselves or summon token minions, still very impressive
Toast you would have lost the last game as you where about to destroy your weapon with no mana loosing the charge... while your opponent was giving up...
You really shouldn't spoil the best parts in the intro. Do like with the Big Spell Mage one, where you get us hyped for what's going to happen without spoiling. Also, nice Banjo-Kazooie music choice.
Toast might have lost the last game bcuz of order, but the opponent conceded. He wanted to hit face with dagger, with wrong ordering, he couldn't attack with Southsea Deckhand. Lucky toast xD
24:42 - I know Toast is brilliant, but this is the first time I've watched one of his actual game play videos...um...question - did anyone else notice him miss lethal right as his opponent conceded?
That’s why u never surrender no matter how bad it seems... if toast attacked with his dagger the deckhand wouldn’t have charge which means he should lose..
