Another totem talks with the freshbulbs :) Thanks so much for watching! much love, one love. Instagram : / thedaboki Twitter: / thedaboki Twitch: / daboki
Bro, you're like the complete opposite of annoying. My mind's wired that way too. I constantly want to talk about "deep stuff" with people, because those are the discussions that matter most. Of course, there's a time and place, not every conversation needs to be heavy. But when it happens, you grow, even just a little, as does the bond with that other person. What do I know though, I'm probably just as annoying. Haha.
Ahh thank you dino, that's why I think I enjoy your podcasts because you guys sometimes go into those topics and step on each other toes a bit. Definitely time and place for everything
I don't really mind these kind of conversation because I think about these things as well all the time. So, when I hear you talk about deep stuff, its really entertaining and comforting that there is someone like me out there.
Speaking for myself, I watch your videos because of you. You can be deep, goofy, focused on the game only, life updates, etc. and I’ll still watch. Keep being you please.
I love deep convos! I feel like thats one of the ways u can really get to know people. Its honestly the reason why I love just listening to your vids. It's relaxing and very thought provoking.
Hey Daboki! Haven't left a comment on your videos since basilmarket days. Just wanted to let you know using your wind walk skill from first job more often than flash jump will help you move around faster and improve your clear speed. *it also looks amazing with the nx wep from the compensation* Love your WA adventure can't wait for the next episode!
Ahh basilmarket days now thats a huge throw back. Yeahh I really need to practice using that skill more! I just get so used to only flash jumping and forget about all other mobility.. You're right though it does looks so good with that wep! Thanks for watching~
15:46 ..aand there he goes thinking about trains again. Tsk tsk. 🙄 I always appreciate the breath of the wild music in the videos. Even though the game isn't that old it's already really nostalgic. On a side note, your mom was just such a joy and a great chef to boot! Hope to see more dual cooking videos in the future.
Always a great way to end off the night with more Daboki. I didn't comment on the last video, but cooking with Mama Daboki was an absolute hit. I really value the time and conversation I get when I cook with my mom and I can see you're the same way. It was a staple memory when I was commuting back from college. Hoping for more cooking videos in the future! :)
Thanks William! Glad you enjoyed the cooking video~ I really would love to cook with my parents more, it is truly such a great bonding time. Appreciate you stopping by
this is literally what i've been thinking non stop about recently. Something I learned recently in class about architecture and designing in general is that the mind loves thinking in analogies, so you comparing to games makes a lot of sense because that's what your mind wants to stray to. It's oddly comforting to know that there is another person thinking about the same oddly specific thoughts. You keep pushing on, we love you!
I really enjoy you diving deep into thoughts. I also get deep in every day conversations with people and I feel like they shut down when I travel too far down emotionally. I relate to your joy of traveling and gaming and I appreciate you sharing what's on your mind! Thanks for making content for us Daboki!
Thanks for this talk daboki, really needed the one about staying positive before the storm. Great to know more about your idea with solitude too, would love to know what the therapist says! Because I feel that too sometimes and I'm a single child too
I don't get too many opportunities to talk about deep subjects, so I value these moments! -I think your mindset transcends feelings, and seeps into your unconscious daily actions. So, it's kind of like how the placebo effect works with medicine in a way? For example, I've been trying to learn animation, and I was struggling with it for months, and I was very negative since I believe I'm bad at learning and not that smart. But that's what I always told myself, I'm not smart. That thought was like a fog in the back of my mind, and it was usually my reason for giving up for the day. I took a break for a few months, came back with a fresh mindset, and instead focused on what I did well, even if I literally accomplished the same amount as before, or less. Once I looked at what I learned, instead of what I didn't learn, I got excited at the progress, versus the distance I hadn't gone yet. Basically, it gave me free motivation for no reason, and then I was able to use that energy to spend more time each day practicing and watching videos, and it became a self fulfilling prophecy of positivity. Well, I'm still on that journey! But that's what I learned. Being positive is definitely not just a mood or philosophy, you definitely make small unconscious decisions to stick to that plan. I like your rambles, so here is one back~
Thank you Foxy for sharing! Always really love seeing other people's perspectives and experiences in life. Totally can relate with the placebo effect for sure. Your art story is so refreshing, and I loved how you said "free motivation". Motivation is such a strong and powerful feeling, and I feel like positivity can definitely help achieve that. Keep it up you are doing amazing. Thanks again for the wonderful ramble~
I’ve been trying to adjust to college and it’s been a lot so it was nice to relax and think with you even if I don’t have time for maple right now. Thanks for the video :)
I absolutely loved your prequests-main quest tangent in relating it to relationships. That part was so interesting to hear and was quite funny. Thank you so much for your videos daboki!
Daboki long time fan here~ Just from watching your videos and hearing your stories and perspective on life, I feel like our personalities are pretty similar and I just want to say that you’re doing great! Keep up the good work and always stay positive you’re killing it man~ ;))
I’m INFP and maybe that’s why i feel everything you say is relatable haha. I’ve been watching your videos since around 2012ish and love hearing your perspective about life. When you mentioned how there’s sort of a structure and path in relationships, I agree that we try too hard to follow the social norms when every relationship is different. It’s kinda the same with college too. Some people expect high school graduates to go to college and graduate within 4 years when everyone’s path is different. I also feel the same about commitment. I’m not scared of committing to a relationship, but more scared of committing to something, like a project? For example, buying a house sounds super nice, but the idea of being forced to stay at one place for a long time is scary since it restricts me from exploring other options since life constantly changes. Sorry for the long comment/rant but again, thank you for the video! Hope you enjoy your weekend!
I actually really enjoy the deep talks. My mind works in a similar way I guess, so it's always nice to see that there are others like me. After a long day at work a video like this is very relaxing to watch
Hey David! You don't have to worry at all about talking about deep things at all. That's who you are, and why we come back to watch you! You're an amazing human being, and I hope you find someone that enjoys talking about deep things too - you shouldn't have to change who you are at all!
Thank you so much Spicy :) I'm so fortunate to have you guys here listening and accepting me for who I am. It helps me a lot to be able to just vent out my mind sometimes. Thank you again for the support~
Hey Daboki, great totem talks as always. Tbh, I've also been thinking lately about the pessimism in our everyday lives. I've also realized that even though the disappointment hits us less when we set our expectations low, we are also subconsciously limiting ourselves and simply not giving our all.
It doesn’t bother me at all , it’s relatable and fun to dive into these topics , you talk about a lot of things that I think about myself on daily basis , how to improve and how to approach life :) *cough* lil nightmares *cough*
Daboki you’re the man. These are the conversations that should be talked about more. Feel like we are always worried about the now but are never truly in tuned with our emotions.
Man, I feel like we're the same person sometimes. Korean, Software Engineer, Only child (I'm strict only child), Sad complexion, Similar college attitude, low-confidence from being with parents too long, etc lol. Keep up the videos man, always a pleasure watching!
Hey Daboki! Again, another great maple video from you! I absolutely don't think that being too philosophical of life is "wrong." I do it everyday, questioning my path of a fufilling life and see what decision I can make to prepare for that. The future's scary and unsettling, but having time to think really helps me center myself and grow. Stay safe and keep up the good work!
aw thank you KJ! That's really nice that you feel the same way. I think we all have different ways to feel fulfilled, and it's great we can feel that feeling once in a while :) appreciate the support
Boki providing us with long youtube videos and streams. Just amazing 6:15 While watching this video, I'm literally studying for the midterms for tomorrow. The exact negative thoughts were going through my mind as I flipped through my notes. The timing........ POSITIVE ENERGY POSITIVE MINDSET LETS GOOO
yooo Ben! Good to see you again. Man hope all went well, but at the end of the day you're always a winner if you have a positive mind set. Much love man
deep convos are the best! especially when you're talking with someone who's open minded and at least somewhat opinionated about most things, conversations could go on for hoursss
So relatable to what u said about feeling pumped up and ambitious when you are far away from your home(comfort zone or just familiar surroundings in general) and the lack of stimuli when you are back at your home (comfort zone). But that shouldn’t contradict each other, being at home/close to your home shouldn’t be deteriorating the same ambition you hold when you are far away from home. Yet it still does due to the fact that it being too comfortable (?). Idk, but if you ever find a solution to this, please share! I’m dying to know
I get that some people may be put off with being too serious or deep all the time, but don't worry about being a certain way all the time. It's who you are, and it's what makes you special and different from other people. I appreciate you and love you for every part of your personality. For me, holding your "true" self back just so you can fit another person's ideal mold of what you should be is a lot less unattractive than honestly unleashing your passion and personality. I know it can be hard not to pay attention to what others think about you, but you need to realize that if you do intend to change your personality, you need to be satisfied and comfortable with that change. Otherwise, you can end up hurting yourself or even those around you because you end up wanting to return to your previous personality. Either way, I don't mind whether you stay the same or change who you are, I will still be one your passionate troopers. Much love, one love. This has been Mustache Pikachu. Goodbye.
I borderline quit MS not too long ago but the combination of your streams and these recent events have brought me back. Fighting between my NL and WA for my main... Pally is an honorable mention. Also, really love the way you used the video game references during this talk... made things even more interesting lol.
Welcome back to maple! Never got to try NL fully but they seem so fun and strong late game (I guess that's kind of like all classes lol). I feel like NLs look super smooth when people play them. WA im super biased about already haha, but gl choosing a class! thanks for enjoying~
i personally don't mind when you talk about deep topics. the way you talk about things....not sure how to explain it. even though the subject is deep, you seem just so uplifting and happy about it.
man i'm graduating in sociology so talking about philosophies of life and deep things is kinda my life, so if u want to change ideas bout these subjects, i'm free. Nice vid, love totem talk
@@wererer It's only if you pulled items that are gender specific. You get 2 options to get a copy of the item of the other gender or 3.4k maple points.
It doesn’t bother me personally, it’s therapeutic even. But if ya don’t want to do it it’s cool too. But I can watch the grinding but also do homework and listen. Kinda like a podcast lol but I enjoy it!!
@Coppersan @Daboki LOL I was just watching his tier list video and his new training to 200 video while training my new Adele to level 200 with the tera burn on the halloween event!
Thank you! Ah yes Totems increase the spawn rate in the maps, and they last for 2 hours! So usually you get them when you want to train :) I should probably explain it one time haha sorry about that
lmao i feel the same way looking at tier list been playing the game since 2007 and feel like i know alot about all classes but i still find my way to how to find a main and tier lists.
i dont really mind when u get too deep on stuff that has nothing to do with ms but i can already tell that it seems to be ur best place to vent and talk about stuff bothering u that would otherwise be bottled up and fester. idk if seeing a therapist is gonna help u but u should think more about why u do the things u do and basically just asking why since theyre gonna do that a lot lmao.
thanks Mark, those are some good points! I was hoping to have just a more normal conversation with them and not them just asking me why about everything lol. Maybe I can do a few trial runs to test it out
@@TheDaBoki if they'll let you then yeah that might help a lot, im pretty biased tho since around me a lot of therapists here are just around to pick up a paycheck and pretend to listen. dont worry bout bothering me with ur totem talks lol, im kinda used to em after a couple years. looking forward to see u get stronger.
If I found it annoying, I wouldn't be here. I'm not a super deep thinker, I generally prefer to be in the moment. Different people are different, and that's ok.
Having just gotten out of a 3 year relationship, this title makes me think I might cry this video. 😭 Edit: Never mind. You referenced sex and legend of zelda somehow and I'm still laughing. I love these videos
