In this video I answer a bunch of questions that were left for me in the comments! In the middle of answering them I had a seizure that I show. I also show a seizure that started to come on while I was in the shower the day before and had to get out but it never fully developed into a seizure...

12:48 You are so sweet. Going through something extremely hard yet talking to him in such a soft and calm manner, then smiling. You know the quote “Everyone dies, but not everyone lives.” The seizures that you have is giving you the opportunity to LIVE everyday. To be conscious of every breath. To be aware of every feeling and emotion. You have an opportunity that most people don’t have, and that’s to live for every moment. I’m so so proud of you. Keep growing. My heart is with you

Chiropractor is definitely the way to go, my mother has had seizures and ever since she has been going to a chiropractor she is seizure free...which is about 8 months now. I hope you find treatment that gets rid of your agony! Sending you tons of good vibes!!! Also anti anxiety medication works too which my mother is taking along with chiropractor treatment.

@marissa15 chiropractors can help with practically anything. Your spine health is incredibly important. That and diet. Most physiological illness begins through the stomach.
@shadowfigure3749
@shadowfigure3749 4 года назад
@marissa15 the adjustments they make to your neck and spine affect the nervous system, which runs all the way down your spine. Like the others said when your spine is not aligned it can throw everything else off. When you're having seizures your nervous system is in overdrive. Chiropractors can "pull the e-brake" as mine puts it, on the entire nervous system. There isn't a condition or an illness that a chiropractor cannot help you with. They do a whole lot more than just fix achy joints. I get adjustments to my back and neck along with sacro cranial release. I haven't had a seizure in two years. Before that I had a minimum of three a week. Functional medicine chiropractors are the best but all chiropractors can do so much more than most people think. They are absolutely essential when it comes to total body wellness.

That feeling ay! Indescribable. A mix of Jamais Vu and Deja Vu is the closest you can get to a description, but it is still woefully inadequate. You forget about the feeling normally ... but recognise it instantly when it happens. First it's just like any other random thought that pops into your head, then when you go to contemplate whatever the thought is, it's like a realisation and recognition - the feeling makes me laugh maniacally and think "oh crap, here we go again!" every single time. Your positivity is awesome babe. The only way to approach hardship of any kind and come out the other side better off than before. You are an inspiration.

I too suffer from epilepsy ever since I was about 11 yrs old, I'm 21 now. I was seizure free for about 4 yrs before it came back on Dec 11, 2019. I have had about 9 sezuire in those 5 months. The worst one I had was at work on March 13th where I fell onto a conveyer belt and held on which caused alot of bruises on my chest and stomach area. I was actually going through a very tough time dealing with the disability but seeing you fight and be strong has really motivated me to embrace it and fight on. So here I am on your side fighting this disability together. You have gained a new subscriber :). I wish you the best of luck and i cant wait for day you become seizure free. The only reason why I asked such a question is because awhile back in 2013, 3rd of May, I'd just moved into a rental home with my 4 children & my family just lived a block away from me. That early morning my mother had a seizure for the first time in her life. So as for me being the eldest daughter was called to their home to comfort my brother's & sister's as well my father. Thank the Lord for my brother in-law Maru who was a parametic @ the time. My whole family was so afraid of what could happen or what are the outcome because of her age being 60yrs old. I just set everything aside & stayed beside my mother & prayed continually even to the hospital which she had too fly away to another hospital. So again I went with her on the helicopter because everyone was afraid of flying & of course I myself had a fear of heights & flying, so like I said I set everything aside just to comfort my mother in prayer from my 💓. When we arrived @ the North Shore Auckland hospital New Zealand. Mother was going in & out unconsciousness so the doctors got surgeon to do surgery that day. Then after surgery was done she wouldn't wake up @ all, like being in a deep sleep. So I still remained prayerful beside her. Oh yes how can I forget my older brother Peter who meet me in Auckland when he had heard his mother was in North Shore hospital. So thankful my brother was beside me because I needed a physical strength during this time, well we needed each other. So again they had to do surgery & halfway through the surgery the surgeon's come out of surgery to quickly sign a piece of paper. They asked my brother but he refused so they turned to me & so I signed it & quickly went back in to surgery.

I just want to say that there are different types of seizures out there. Focal aware seizures you do not lose consciousness, you can hear during the seizure, but you are unable to respond. Focal impaired awareness seizures you are not aware of what is happening. Focal seizures can occur with Temporal lobe epilepsy. Temporal lobes If you have been diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) it means you have seizures starting in one or other of the temporal lobes. Seizures starting in the temporal lobes are usually focal impaired awareness seizures, but focal aware seizures can also happen. You might start the seizure being aware of what’s happening, and then lose awareness as the seizure progresses. Symptoms of seizures in the temporal lobes include: Feeling frightened Feeling like what’s happening has happened before (deja vu) Hearing things that aren’t there Experiencing an unpleasant taste or smell Having a rising sensation in your stomach Lip smacking, repeated swallowing or chewing Changes to your skin tone or heart rate Automatic behaviours such as fidgeting, undressing, running or walking After a temporal lobe seizure you are likely to be confused, and may find it hard to speak for a short time. Frontal lobes The symptoms of frontal lobe seizures can sometimes be mistaken for mental health problems or sleep disorders. Some people who have frontal lobe seizures only have them in their sleep. They are usually brief, but often happen in clusters, with several happening in a short space of time. Your awareness may or may not be affected. Symptoms of seizures in the frontal lobes can include: Pelvic thrusting, kicking, pedalling, thrashing or rocking movements Screaming, swearing or laughing Unintentionally passing urine (urinary incontinence) Your head or eyes turning to one side Having unusual body movements, such as stretching one arm while the other bends Twitching, jerking or stiffening of muscles in one area of your body. The movements may sometimes spread bit by bit to other areas Parietal lobes Seizures starting in the parietal lobe often spread to involve other lobes. Symptoms of seizures starting in the parietal lobes can include: Having feelings of numbness or tingling Prickling, crawling or electric-shock sensations, which may spread along the affected body part Sensations of burning, cold or pain Feeling like part or all of your body is moving or floating Feeling like a body part has shrunk, enlarged or is missing Difficulty understanding language, reading, writing or doing simple maths Seeing things as larger or smaller than they really are, or seeing things that aren’t there You can have seizures triggered by Dehydration Hormonal changes Sleep deprivation Electrolyte Imbalance Hypertensive crisis (high blood pressure)

Nicole Marie I was born with high blood pressure and still have it and I get body spazams and eye Twitching and leg and arm Twitching. I looked it up and it says that’s a low seizure of some kind I can’t remember what it said i was also born with a condition that can cause seizures I can’t ask my parents they will say no. And my doctor doesn’t specialise in that so does it mean I’ve been having small seizures without realising it
@SuperButterfly217
@SuperButterfly217 4 года назад
@@KrissyRoseAnimallover it's possible they could have been seizures. Keep a log of what you experience in a notebook and the dates that it happens. I have had two that had high blood pressure connected to it, one in 2017 and my blood pressure was 230/120 and the second time in 2020 my blood pressure was 217/138 and they also gave me electrolytes magnesium and sodium chloride.

Bless your sweet heart! Your mother is such a great support system for you. Almost a decade ago, I knew a baby that had multiple seizures a day. Sadly, his story is worse than I want to explain, but I had never seen a seizure up close except the one or two times I saw that sweet boy have them. I did have a coworker that said he had dated a woman for like 15 years and she had seizures regularly and he would pinch the back of her neck and she would come out of it. Maybe have your mom pinch the back of your neck? I hope this helps. Anything to help.

Born in the wrong time To be honest with you, the baby I knew growing up was born completely normal. The reason I didn’t want to discuss what happened is because it brings up sadness and anger. His own father tried to suffocate him at 7 weeks old when he was on drugs, causing permanent brain damage and abnormal growth of his skull as he got older. He had multiple seizures everyday and was on seizure medications that we fed to him through his feeding tube. The only reason I’m talking about him in past tense is because I’m not sure if he’s still alive or not, I haven’t been in contact with his family in a few years. If he is still here, he would be 11-12 years old and bound of a wheelchair. I know it’s a horrible story, one of the worst you can hear about and literally one of the worst cases of child abuse in my location. He was a very gorgeous baby. Just hurts my heart.

Born in the wrong time You’re okay, it makes sense that you would think that, as I’m sure most people would. Sadly, this was something that happened very near and dear to me and the story hit the hearts of many people in my state that heard about it on the news and read articles about it. But it mostly affected us closest to him. His parents were god awful people and they abused serious drugs and I just hate them so much for everything that happened and all of the whirlwind of events that took place after.

Have you tried having valium to help calm your nerves? I know it probably won't stop you having a seizure, although they do use valium in hospital to stop certain seizures... But its a muscle relaxer plus helps with anxiety. Just an idea. You're so strong, i can't believe you still carried on with this video after the seizure and nap! Very admirable. Stay strong sweet

Just wondering what medications you are on for your seizures? I am 53 years old and started having them when I was 18, fortunately mine are very well controlled and I've probably only had 12 or so in my entire life. I've been taking depakote daily and ativan as needed and they've really helped me. Thank you and your mom for sharing your experiences, I pray that God will heal you and keep you safe....you are such a beautiful person and an inspiration to all.

Stay Strong Ang!!!! Just was wondering have you ever looked into Medical Marijuana? I don't really know you're whole situation but some CBDs have anti-seizure qualities and help with epilepsy.

I was surprised she could stroke the dog so early on after she had the seizure. She couldn't talk but could stroke the dog. That's cool. And I guess the dog is very helpful for her, calming her during these episodes, before and after.

@@borninthewrongtime6449 do you think it might be PNES? If it is, there are therapies for it, but the meds for seizures won't help. I feel bad for her and hope she gets the help she needs. Maybe something traumatic happened to her in college since that's when it started. That's just pure speculation on my part though. She seems to think it was caused by vaccines, but I don't think that's the reason. She said that the university "forced" her to get vaccinations or she couldn't return to school...and then what do you know...she develops seizures from the vaccines? Seems unlikely and a little too coincidental. Maybe college was overwhelming for her. Or maybe I'm completely off base and the poor girl really is suffering uncontrolled seizures. I don't know what to think at this point. I do feel for her. She's a pretty girl with her whole life ahead of her.
