Thank you so much! I'm getting ready to install a pair if these w/3 of the wall-mount batteries in the back of a 12x20 shed, and this confirms that I need to wall them off if I expect to use the front of the building as an office. I'm going to create a 'solar room' in the back that's 12x4, and put a door on it.

A simple wall partition with 1 sheet of drywall and some insulation completely eliminated the fan noise.
