i always have been a Rodgers fan and also defended him at times but even i can´t hear this shit anymore.. yeah yeah he´s been doing it for 20 years and bla bla bla but thats not how you win against all these loaded teams and stuff like that makes a difference, team chemistry is the key, the packers are doing it right, almost everyone on the team is in year 3 or younger and they play way above their paygrade because they are all growing together. defensive head coach, very mid to bad offensive coordinator, strong conference, strong Bills and Dophins in the division, zero momentum.. i don´t see how this could work tbh

Fair question: because there is a SHORT list of things that you can legally (in NFL) get an excuse for and his reason wasn't on the list, so it's technically unexcused and will result in a fine. Mandatory is mandatory, I'm not arguing whether it was unexcused. Just saying, if you're at work and 3 days are voluntary and the 4th is mandatory, and you talk to your boss about coming in for the 3 voluntary days because you need the mandatory day off, sure corporate might still come down on you but your boss isn't sitting there acting like you're a no show like the media is with Rodgers.

He was there for all of voluntary OTAs, he was in contact with the front office / coach prior to his absence, and he is a 20 year vet. People need to chill.
