Questions about the 6 days of Shawwal | Live Reminder

Today was my 4th day of fasting in Shawwal. Every day I have been making dedicated duas for the Muslim umma in crisis: 1) Palestine 2) Syria 3) Yemen 4) Afghanistan 5) Rohingya in Burma 6) Uighurs in China My heart bleeds for them all. May Allah ease their hardships. 💚

I don’t think I’ve ever clicked this fast, I missed Yaqeen SOO MUCH

Please make dua for my mother. She was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. This week she will have her surgery and then the treatment. May Allah SWT forgive and grant the highest level of Jannah to all our mothers.

Please don't forget to make dua for our Muslims who have been suffering alot!

1. Do i make up the fast before the 6 days or 6 days first ? Hanbalis: make up fast first on the basis on completing ramadhan and then follow up with 6 days. Majority scholars: do 6 days in syawal first, because they are restricted in syawal only. Make up fast in the other months. 2. Can i combine intention? Cannot combine the obligatory fast with the voluntary fast. Can combine voluntary fast with other voluntary fast (ie the monday & thursday sunnah) 3. Is it better to do syawal fasting early or later? - it is better to do it as soon as possible.

As salaam I like doing my 6 days fasting starting on the second day of shawal itself straight. Often enough, breaking fast on the 6th day I feel exhilirated like I am celebrating a 2nd Eid. Wallahu’alam
