Brian, thanks for your chat with all of us who enjoy your participation on this platform. Love, love, love that you are working with Dan. And that we get to know you better. Together with Nick you three are an incredible team. Sending you all a big “howdy” from Texas USA 🇺🇸
Hello Nick, from the southeast USA. Nice to know a little about you. Thanks for helping Dan rebuild his château. This has been an epic adventure to watch ❤
Thanks for the Q&A Brian. I did not know you had your own channel. You, Dan and Nick make a lovely team building Chaumont and your banter and humour with each other is great. Have a lovely day.
I did love Ireland when I visited. Totally different to Australia. It’s good to see the three of working so well together. By the way the hat is perfect for the hot summer days.
Hi Brian, Didn't realise you had your own channel ..... Life of Brian?!!! LOL Thanks for all your work helping Dan with Chaumont, what a brilliant team you make with the addition of Nick. Well done lads. xxx
I've watched Dan since he started pulling weeds and cutting grass on Stephanie's channel. I've really enjoyed all his projects but love his restoration of his chateau! Wanted to let you know that you are a very nice addition to this job and a good fit with Dan and Nick and the orange pants guy! Also, puppies! What's not to like!
Me too. Dan has had quite a journey since he started working at LaLande. I remember being surprised that his father Also lives in France: Dan went over to help him replace/repair something - a difficult roof area??
Thank you! That was fun…I think people just appreciate an authentic no BS person plus there’s the persistent fantasy that everything is better in rural France so we’re all living vicariously through you guys! Great job!! ❤
@@YueDreaming Weird used to mean "supernatural", but now its meaning is closer to "odd". Impertinent still means rude. Between friends boundary breaking may be called "cheeky", which isn't odd or supernatural. ;)
Brian you did a good job answering some of the questions and some were pretty personal. I like your friendship with Dan and Sawdust Nick! We know that Dan is so happy to have you helping on the Chateau renovation and Nick too! Beautiful on that lake and I understand why you camp out there. Thanks for sharing likes and dislikes about yourself now we understand better about where you come from etc.
Hi Brian, great to see you enjoying France and taking us along to see what you get up to, your replies to the questions are brilliant, thank you for your wonderful Irish wit, never change , you all work so well together, it's a joy to see the progress that's being made at the chateau. Well done y'all. Take care and stay safe 👍
Thank you for taking the time to do this Q&A I thoroughly enjoyed hearing it, look forward to more. France still looks as beautiful as I remember but here where I live in Ireland is also wonderful.
Thanks for the Q&A video. I am a sucker for foriegn accents. I could listen to you all all day. We are a bit boring in the USA accents that is. Have you gotten your chickens yet?? I too love camping. Have a wonderful weekend.
Fun! Thank you. Love your sense of humor including your graceful slides away from questions that you'd rather not answer. Glad your channel has taken off.
That was fabulous! I laughed until I cried, and smiled with pretty much every single answer you gave. Thank you so much for doing this, it's nice to step out of the norm and get to know somebody who you will probably never get to meet in life which is a shame. Hoping you have an amazing week!
Brought a smile to my face to see you simply and politely answer some of the weirdest questions I've ever heard someone ask a RU-vid channel. Glad to have found you on here.
Oh, Brian, you are a trip! Thanks for the humour, honesty, wit and wonder. And the patience and wit in answering some of the more daft questions. Keep these videos coming, as often as possible.
Thank you Brian. A wonderful Q & A. Your honest, hardworking, goodlooking, intelligent, skilled, humorous, a great mate, & humble. The full package. Wonderful mate. Some of the questions are questionable.🤣 Great to know you've been to New Zealand. We do have a magical country, with magical people.😁 Thank you. Love ya. 🙏❤
Most are curious about such hard working men. I wear a wide brim hat, long sleeves, and long pants anytime the sun is shining; otherwise, I shortly feel ill as my head hurts, my skin is burning and I become nauseated. People remark about either my long sleeves, pants and or hat. It gets old and demonstrates poor manners. A few times I have said, "Thank you for noticing. Now, I'll try to notice you". Listening to you answer questions was both enjoyable and informative. Thank you for your time.
It is amazing how a fellow answers an advertisement for a Gardener at La Lande and here you all are. For a far northern California Grammie who works too hard, listening to all the accents of places I would love to travel in my retirement is food for my soul. Dan and Stephanie tick all those boxes. I am glad he talked you into your own channel to subsidize the Chicken Run and other projects. Thank you for sharing. I must say the Puppy video must have warmed hearts around the globe and back again. Best Wishes from one of the hottest cities on the planet.
Gorgeous place for the video. Love your matter of fact attitude. You are a jewel. “Hiding from the heat” I think that’s what everyone is doing these days.
What a charming fellow!! Some of those questions had me in stitches, you will do well on this platform, I think you passed the test!! 🤣🤣🤣 Love and respect from Canada ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
I’m so glad you started your own channel. It will be fun watching your take on things. Here, I’m watching you from Mexico City, not only are there different accents in each part of the country, but different words for the same thing. What something is called in the Northern states, close to the US border, is called something completely different here, in what is referred to as the Capital. Please keep posting whatever content you want. We’re going to enjoy every bit of it, I assure you. Thanks again.
For THE BEST chocolate chip cookie: Start with the toll house recipe. Swap half the butter for cream cheese. Lower white sugar to 1/2 cup. Raise brown sugar to a full cup. Use milk chocolate chips. Keep refrigerated after baked 😊
Brian, you are the archetypal affable bloke, so very attractive to many of us. Are you as hilarious as most Irish folk? It doesn't hurt that you are lovely to behold, too!
I love it, Brian that you are so natural. I love it when you show us the outdoors and when you're drinking your coffee and showing us the views when you travel.❤ USA
But why did you decide to leave Ireland for a life in France? I think of leaving my country a lot...but its not as easy as you, Dan, and Nick seem to have made it...seem being the operative word. I know moving and setting up a home and life is never easy. Will or do you you have French citizenship?
The 3 of you along with Nicks son are a great team , watching you all gives us wannabe builders something to aspire to and some really good ideas to solve problems .
Enjoyed the Q&A Brian thank you. Rural France is so beautiful so I enjoy seeing it through your eyes. Guinness is so good in Ireland because of the water, so I'm told the same is true of Murphys. Nothing like a cup of Barrys Gold❤
I think Brian that we just enjoy your company. You're easy to listen to and down to earth, as are Dan and Nick. Thanks for the chat and the lovely scenery, Ide definitely go camping there if I could. The countryside in France looks beautiful. 👋🦘
You guys are inspiring. I have written this before, but I rebricked a basement ashtrap from 100 years ago with my niece. It was on my list for YEARS. I watched you guys hoisting freaking beams up 100 feet like it was nothing, and I was like: "I can fix a stupid wall ffs...."..and we did it. 💙🩵💗
First view of your channel, this popped up and somewhat entertaining.🤔 Isn't it remarkable how you can sit there communicating with people from anywhere on earth? I'm viewing from rural metro Vancouver on a beautiful sunny fall day. I enjoyed a week in Ireland in the past. Had to visit some of my ancestral homelands. All English, even my Irish ancestors were English. So boring...ugh.
Hello from Kentucky, USA! It was such a delight when your channel showed up on my feed. I so enjoy watching you, Dan and Nick restore the chateau. It’s been such a joy seeing you work through problems. Thank you for being so gracious with these questions. Some were real zingers.
I’ve always loved Stephanie’s vlogs, all her friends, the fun, that gorgeous countryside, then on to Dan, rebuilding that chateau, then discovering you, you all have something to offer, the picturesque countryside, the outdoors, can you kayak in the lake/river, a coffee in town, your humor? Just the slowing down and the peace! I think we all crave that, I know I do! Keep it up! Love it! Wishing you much success from San Diego, California! 🌴🍀
Great! Good to see you on your own vlog after seeing you on Old Dan's shows. Words of advice after watching Dan and Steph and seeing their success. Keep it all positive unless something devastating happens. Both always say good morning at some point. But you need to find your own nietch. Good luck! BTW... Minneapolis Minnesota
