Qui-Shawn Tran, Earl Warren College 

An accomplished poet, musician and artist, Qui-Shawn Tran is a first-generation college student whose creativity and enthusiasm have enabled him to engage with and tap into the ebb and flow of the many diverse communities that make up UC San Diego. He has inspired others and shared his message of hope, connectedness and compassion throughout his journey of learning and growth, crediting his time and communities at the campus Cross-Cultural Center as being among his fondest memories. Tran graduates with a major in interdisciplinary computing and the arts: computer music and music technology, with plans to teach English to high schoolers in Japan.
