We have a couple of gluten free family members. So the only G.F. Cracker I could find at our store were the little rice circles. I wasn’t sure if they would hold up to the bacon grease but they came out perfect. The rice flavor went well with the ingredients and they stayed nice and crispy.
Living in Tx, I saw your seasonings at Bucees. Awesome to see! Your seasonings are placed right along side hardcore carnivore, Kosmos Q, Killer Hogs, and Meat Church!
I make a bacon cracker at the holidays…. Same cracker, put 1T of the green can sawdust Parmesan (don’t judge. The real stuff doesn’t work) and then wrap thin sliced bacon around the cracker and bake. I’m going to try smoking them next time. As well as doing the candied ones. Looks great, Susie!
Looks amazing! I want to add a little Brie to a few to melt on top! Such a great little celebration appetizer! This is definitely happening in my tiny little back yard!
Did these tonight, and heck yeah, but they reminded me of a dessert rather an appetizer... So after they cooled down a bit, I cut the in half and put them in a large Rubbermaid tub. Drizzled on some melted Baker's Chocolate and tumbled them with the lid on. Bomb! Edit. After the chocolate cooled down, too much sugar. Might try the next batch without the brown sugar, or maybe just cinnamon. I'm calling them Snack Crackers
I made these tonight on my pellet grill. I was expecting big things. Unfortunately they were kinda meh. I used regular cut bacon, a little of my favorite pork seasoning, “famous Dave’s “, and brown sugar. It honestly was kinda dry?! The bacon was a little understated and the sweet was strong. Maybe I had too much brown sugar? Anyway it was crispy, crunchy, and almost dry….. but sweet. I’ve done candied bacon before that was great. All this recipe did was add a dry cracker flavor. I love your channel, please don’t take offense. Just trying to give my honest review of this recipe. Keep doing what you do!😎
Hey Suzie, thinking about making these for a backyard party this weekend. If I would want to pair a dipping sauce with these, what would you recommend (if any)?
